I'm a bit puzzled as to why we have suddenly acquired references to time-travelling and/or semi-immortal 'abnormals' - is this a crossover with another series?

Ok, who or what is Mister Jordan?! Is he an angel or a demon?! This is really getting good. And I was right. Lucille is in the story. As for another ghost, well, it was hinted in the book that the house had its own sort of life and was controlling both Lucille and Thomas. In the end, the house let Thomas go because he wasn't anything like his sister or the rest of the Sharpes. Please update the story!

That was a really good chapter. Helen kind of reminds me of Claire from Outlander, seeing how she's also a time traveler and a doctor, and I liked how the twins react to Thomas. They might have their mother's gift. As for who's going to show up, I think it's Lucille.

Right. I changed my mind about Marshall. He's not all that bad, but this is not going to end well. I was thinking about Thomas and seeing a terrible future where someone might drown. Could it have been about Marshall coming to help Alan and Edith?

So Thomas has an angel helping him? Cool idea. But I still don't like what Alan's doing. True. it's better than the alternative, but it still has its dangers.

Not sure if I'm liking Alan's brother, but the one watching Edith is Thomas!
