Great first chapter! I liked the Poe and Finn interaction and it'd be nice to see more of them as friends. I am definitely a Finn/Rey shipper though and really look forward to reading a story showing their relationship develop. Thank you for writing!

Dont really care for finn x rey, just doesnt feel right to me :P they seem too much like friends to be in a relationship, dis ey forcing relationships down my throat is the last thing i want! So far so good though! Id like to see more! Thouh even with starkiller gone the resistance is in big trouble. They lost more then have there ships in the fight over starkiller and they already have no capital ships to speak off, those belonged to their sedret backer the new republic-whose government and its already small fleet just got destroyed by the first order. Th NR had really cut down on its military so it has basically been neutralized for quite awhile. Pearl Harbor didnt destroy every ship or eliminate our government-actually most of the heavily damaged ships would by wars end be fixed up and put back in service, but the chaos it caused by neutralizing the pacific fleet gave the japs free roam over the Pacific for 6 months just like yamamoto predicted. For the most part the FO military survived, the fleet was no where near the base and it seems like some of the ground forces evacuated in time, plus i dont think the entire military was based their. If I'm correct the empire is also still around, just smaller and demilitarized, but with the NR crippled it could ally with the FO and go on the rampage. I hope to see what you do next, this fic is off to a good start!
