Wow, this story is nothing short of brilliant! Everyone was in character, I loved how you wrote Nuka and Zira meeting back with one another and how he cried when she asked him to call her mom. Zaki is just so cute, sweet and innocent yet wise for his young age. I will miss all your OCS. This was a beautiful story and I am sad to see it end but what an ending! I enjoyed every step of this story. I was hesitant at first about the new Pride, but you really gave them compelling personalities and ties to Zira and I knew that I had to keep going. And man was it tense when they had to face the rogues and I was genuinely shocked when Zira ended up hurt. You knew how to keep the tension going on the journey back and Zaki's run to Priderock had me cheering that he would make it on time. Overall a wonderful redemption arc for someone so deep-seated in hatred as she was. Oh, and I adored Kiara's characterization in the first third of this. She's one of my favorite characters and seeing her grow as a princess and reach out to someone so hardened was great reading. Excellent work and I look forward to more work in the future. )

Whew. Amazing work, truly amazing. I can’t say enough how much this story captivated me, it felt like a journey from start to end. The character development, the emotion, it all felt real and well-paced. The additional characters didn’t feel alien at all and provided an interesting take on the “what could have been” plot base. This was incredible story of redemption and maybe I'm in the minority but letting Zira die was a good choice causing knowing she have a " there no rest for me in this world but maybe the next" attitude

Aww, this was very sweet and heartbreaking to read all at the same time. I was expecting Zira to pass, yet I was hoping she'd be able to make peace with her children. Damn. What a powerful chapter. I was honestly sad when Zira died, but she certainly deserved those last moments with her family. Glad to see the Kovu, Vitani and Kiara all got to share some final words regarding her forgiveness and love.

This story is easily part of my top 5 favourite lion king stories I’ve read. Absolutely cannot wait for you to make another, you nailed the emotions and conflicts while also preserving and extending the background information, so that it was never confusing nor hard to follow. I could easily picture each scene as if it was a film. Beautiful work.

Wow, what a chapter! I was not expecting anyone to be alive after the battle. How on earth were they able to escape everyone? I understand about how stressful life can be so update whenever. Thank you for describing Zira's injuries. My vision is really bad and I can't see pictures or vids on youtube so I wouldn't have been able to know what that looks like. I now wonder about everyone's reactions in the Pridelands. I would think Simba and Inzondo would be close due to the link of family betrayal. Amazing chapter! Brilliant work as always!

Wow, to treat his son like that! I'm sorry I haven't reviewed lately, health issues. Now, this chapter was just wow! Makes you wonder how someone could be that cold towards their son. When Zira was bashing his face in, I kept thinking Stop he's dead go focus on someone else! This story is amazingly written.. I know I will be sad when it is over.
