I really like this story so far but he seems too forgiving to the wrong people. I mean I know majo was evil but she was pretty much the first person to give him affection without a real alternative motive. It was "do this for me cause I need a new body here's the power to do it. My only real reason is I want you. But sarutobi? My God how has he even stayed formal with him. I'm pretty sure that by this point I would have hated him more than the namikaze family. At least they could please a bit of ignorance to his situation. Sorry I'm ranting I do like the story and I know that in order for anko to work majo couldn't be there I just feel like it was too quick and impersonal.

I never really understood what there was to WRITE about it down time, if it wasn't interaction between characters... I mean think about it, no video-games, no cellphones, no computers, no television, very little to read, SOOOOOO other then training how is one supposed to amuse oneself? I think that's why SO many fanfictions have naruto being so clean he'd make a germophobe seem filthy (there is nothing ELSE to do, so I've read stories when naruto takes 3-4 showers a DAY, just because they wanted to separate him from the people for a minute and couldn't THINK of anything else). Think about in the series even the "relaxing time" is a hot springs... See? NOTHING ELSE TO DO! I personally blame the LACK of tech on the third. His stupidity, his ineptitude, because in ONE generation the village gets skyscrapers, cell phones, televisions, computers and the net! Somebody HAD to be holding that crap back because it can't HAPPEN that quick! (super powers or not) (tsunade can KINDA be forgiven, she doesn't like the job, never wanted it, has to at least listen to the complaints of idiots of sarutobi's generation, *who presumably are DEAD of ADVANCED old age by the time kakashi takes the reigns* and her brain has been pretty well eaten up by alcohol by the time she starts) plus she's more interested in advancing MEDICINE. (never understood why she never "caused" a heart attack in the "elders" of the village, at their advanced age it wouldn't even be blinked at. Plus who's gonna examine the bodies? HER or Shizune!)

Why does he need to buy clothes? His are made of shadows remember? You stated that last chapter. He doesn't NEED to buy ANYTHING... And a weapon? Just make one. (in fact other then their souls, which he could just kill them and take, there really isn't ANYTHING konoha can offer him, except revenge and MAYBE *outside chance* friendships with some. *although he could just mind control what he wants there*)

He's not very scary IF you keep interrupting him when he's about to kill someone, then he's "all bark, no bite". Also, he kills his "best friends" yet, lets everyone trying to brainwash him, hurt him, betray him and so on, get away scott-free? How does that make ANY sense at all? He kills gato? BIG DEAL, I've seen him: butcher, torture, maim, mutilate, and eviscerate gato WHILE being part-angel! (a total goody-goody) you want him to be semi-dark? he's gotta kill one OR MORE of the NAMED people of KONOHA! Not "random red-shirt number four or civilian council member number six". And still working for the hokage after his last memory? THAT is just STUPID (he's not plotting his revenge either, that he's had PLENTY of time to do that already, if he hasn't started it by now, then it's JUST an excuse) I think I'm liking this story less and less.

You ever think that instead of just yelling at sakura for not doing anything other then academy jutsus, that the "teachers" should actually, you know, TEACH her a few, even if NOT the others, as she is clearly the one that needs the most "help". and sasuke? He can just go drown, I do not like him in ANY incarnation.

yeah it's a wonderful story but i don't agree with that betrayal but you probably have an idea regarding it so i just hope it will be worth it

I still have a LOT of trouble thinking that people like Mizuki and Irukia actually competed in AND WON these things, it just doesn't FIT them. Mizuki couldn't fight his way out of a WET PAPER BAG, and Irukia? Just seems too STUPID to survive anything like this! Something's FISHY. I think these exams are an UTTER waste of time. Not only that, but they are FAR to big a security hole, NOBODY is gonna allow that! It's just common SENSE!

Negji with 29 confirmed kills? He looks like he'd PEE HIS PANTS with 1 confirmed kill, he doesn't have what it takes.. (unless it's hinata or hanabi..him killing someone in ACTUAL combat?..
