This is a wonderfully well done one-shot of the love and tragedy tying two people together.

The death of quirrell was always something I wished that had been at least mentioned more, especially in the movies where harry makes him crumble to dust and so clearly knows he killed a man.

This was horrifying but in a really amazing way. Ugh poor Ron who just wanted to help his friend, and poor Harry who did what he had to do and got sick at the smell of garlic :(

Seen a few, addressing what canon didn't, Harry affected by killing QuirrelDeMort.

Odd that, when canon Harry nearing 15 years of age, is IMO, way way too "OMG, how unfair, I'm to be a murderer ... whine whine boo hoo...", as if THAT is such a stain on his soul, to KILL the mass murdering scum Voldy.

I've read at least one like this that I think was better, but NO Ron, nor your side gag of a magic connection making Ron "feel Harry's pain, or feel his horror", so that was unique, or for me at least.

AMAZING! This was beautiful and haunting and heartbreaking. Ron is my favourite character so seeing him get the respect he deserves here is awesome! I loved it :)
