God, the dialogue in this is so unbelievably stilted. Also, making the character perfectly moral and without flaws is not a good way to get the audience invested in their story. You went right into lecturing people and stopping injustice without making us care for the character. Might as well just have him be a robot with "racism is bad" written on his face.
