This is beautifully written. I first read it a few days ago and have been thinking of it whenever my mind wanders.

It was interesting to see Merope. That never happens. And I loved the mansion. It reminded me so much of The Secret Garden. And Tom, you’re such dummy sometimes and tragic in your own gothic novel way.

Oh Harry. I just want to bundle her up and call her sweetheart and give her lots of hot chocolate.

The end is so very heartbreaking, but who wouldn’t be desperately tempted? Even if I suspected it was an illusion, I’m not sure I would have the strength to or any desire to break free if I was in her shoes.

Amazing. You're a great writer. I look forward to where this story goes.

this was good, like really good, and I honestly hope you'll come back to this story.

Harry makes me incredibly sad but I identify with her.

I wasn't aware that this had a second chapter and re-reading thing has once again left me terribly sad, at least this chapters ending is more bitter-sweet! This time Harry has company this. Even if it might not be real (God, I hope it's real, in whatever measure of real things can be in that plane). Maybe I'm tapping into Harry's depression vibes too hard, but even if this is the end I'd be satisfied with Harry getting to stay dead? This is the softest kind of peace she's ever had and I'm loathe to see her parted from it, even if she will never get to grow old or see more of the world.

I absolutely fell in love with this story! The characters in this story is so fricken fascinating to read about! Especially Harry and Tom, I love them together! They way Tom doesn’t know how to interact with Harry because he never really had any real friendship/family wise relationships, especially since it was only out of getting what he wanted from them. It’s just amazing seeing him connect with these emotions, and not knowing what to do about it. I really love Harry tho because the way she detaches herself from society, and the world in general is heart breaking to me. Like she doesn’t understand why the people around have this certain drive in them to do the things they do. Please please please UPDATE!

I’ve got to say you have such lovely prose and it pairs so well with a darker piece like this one, casting a dreamlike quality on certain scenes. Much like your other story, this one was a delight to read. I hope you’ll consider coming back to it at some point, I’m interested to see how necromancy will come into play given your excellent use of it in crawlersout.
