Yang was a student at "Signal", which is one of the two prep combat schools in Vale (also the School where Taiuang teaches), the other being "Pharos" from which both Coco and Velvet graduated.

"Sanctum" is the combat school of Mistral, where Pyrrha ruled the roost, with probably Arslan Altan as the Nr. 2 of their year, based on her skill level she showed during the tournament and during the Fall of Beacon.

I'm not quite sure why you changed this, as it doesn't seem to contribute to your story.

To somewhat echo "yurei king", Siegfried could've been another option as the "Invulnerable" friend, although I'm fine with Herc as it does allow you to tie it into the Nemean Lion.

Though I'm surprised you used Hercules as the other soul, his Semblance makes me think of Achiles and the Blessing of the River Styx. Though also Pyrrha was based on that particular hero so it'd make sense
