It's a little confusing that Snape killed James Potter, especially before Harry was born. Oh well, it was still good. :)

OK, that was good, I think...

*grin* I like this kind of "after-hogwarts but before James 'n' Lily die" fics. I'm not sure why, it's just a particular time-slot which hardly anyone writes about. Therefore, I am saying something good about this story, I think's it's very original. It's amazing, 11,000 HP fics here, and there's still new plots that can be made. I think that maybe Snape and James could have been a bit older though, at 18 they's be barely out of school. I like the little reference to Snape's past, it's always good to have an explanation for a character's behaviour. You've managed to enter into his head, thoughts and emotions very well, the best stories can always do that. Check your spelling, and keep up the good work!
