omg this was so good! this really hit me in the feels! BUT i was really hit over the head when you revealed the happy redemption story was just something edith had written! i literally cried, i was weeping with my computer in my lap thinking how sad that thomas wasn't saved and couldn't make up for all his wrong doings! haha my family thinks i've gone crazy for sitting in bed weeping into my laptop about thomas! hahah. Thank you for putting out this wonderful alternate ending to crimson peak! even if its made me insane with grief in the end!

Wow! I so wish this is how the movie went rather than Thomas dying! This would have made an excellent sequel to the film

I am speechless. I don't know what am I even doing in the reviews page. I became interested with Crimson Peak when I saw the trailer in Star Movies. I haven't even watched the movies yet but I was so curious I had to find and read something about it. Then I saw your work and just read it in one sitting. I have an general idea of the story and by the end I figured I'm reading about what can happen after the movie and if Thomas lived but by the end - I don't know. Wow. Some say that there is no twist in the ending of this movie. But you made a wonderful twist here. Sixth-sense level. You killed it. Keep it up! I'll go check your other works now.

P.S. It must have been frustrating for those whos followed this while you were still writing it.

Oh, ouch. Did not see that twist coming... when someone writes fix-it fic, I expect things to stay fixed.

Nevertheless, I do applaud it. My eyes are tearing up slightly, even as my hopes for Thomas and Edith are dashed into the ground.

Edith's determination in this chapter is admirable and wonderful. Alan's revelation must have been shattering to her, but still she doesn't give up. Thank you for excellent chapter!

I just love Edith in this chapter! She's so strong despite being frightened, and the ghosts of Lucille's victims are great addition to scene. I like how they each react differently, and help Edith. Especially her mother.

Oh, Alan, what did you do? Edith will never forgive you.

Good. I was rooting for Thomas and Edith anyway.
