This was very well written, even without the humor. The humor was just the icing on an already delicious cake. So much laughing! Especially during Mike and Marco's argument over threatened bodily harm (it sounded way too much like me and my sister). You should totally write more Emergency! fanfiction.

Excellent story, but one tiny note: B-shift is the shift that goes on duty after A-shift, while C-shift would be the shift last on duty right before A-shift comes back on. So B-shift can't be working when Cap comes in just before he starts his shift, they'd already be off duty. It'd be C-shift working when Cap comes in.
