Wow ok I know there are more chapters from when I've started reading, but I needed to pause before I squealed. I LOVE THAT SHERLOCK AND JOHN ARE ALMOST PERFECTLY LIKE THEIR CHARACTERS IN THR SHOW! I've come across many fanfics where Sherlock is not aloof enough or something like that. YAY ! Keep up the great work

Please continue! (Although I'm sure you're busy with college. Congrats on getting in.) I love the twist of Janine helping Sherlock, and I can't help loving Sherlock's bluntness (which I only now realize is weird considering I was once repulsed by a boy with similar bluntness).

I love where this is going. I was kind of hoping Sherlock would try dating Lestrade just to make John jealous, but Janine works for that as well.

He's way too old for me, but I can't help but find it sexy when John yells, "John Watson of the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers. Three years in Afghanistan, a veteran of Kandahar, Helmand, and Bart's 'bloody' Hospital!" Perhaps Sherlock feels the same.

This is painfully good.

Just a reminder. Mary does ship Johnlock in the show. You just have to watch episode 7 and 8 for proof.

gods, I'm rereading this story and I forgot how heartbreaking this chapter was...

I can see Janine as an awesome friend and from this conversation, a good relationship/emotional guru/support for Sherlock.

It's so obvious that Sherlock's in love with John— well at least to me. I think that Janine and Sherlock will eventually become friends. They both are intelligent people, and very blunt with their words.

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I only recently found your story Love Ballads and have to tell you I enjoyed every minute. It was with great pleasure I found this story and read the first four chapters immediately and then realised I can actually be on the 'journey' with you and the rest of your reviewers. I loved Janine in Love Ballads and can't wait to meet her in this story. I'm looking forward to John's jealousy and the whole story. Love your sense of humour.
