The Queen of Escalation being tutored in fighting by her universe's version of John Wick. I realize that this is a Danny as opposed to Skitter-centric story, but the idea still gives me chills.

Holy crap I loved every single second of that. He reminded me a lot of agent 47 with John wick tendencies. Papa wick. I thought the dark thing was kinda funny and cool even if it was a little bit more batman than expected. I think the best parts of the story for me was just reading how people reacted to the Dark. I like the john wick bits of "are you working again" dotted throughout the story because people were all terrified of what would happen if he was working again. That one empire guy was pretty smart because he actually said 'Nope' and just ducked his head and waited for the metaphorical tidal wave to hit the fan. That one new upstart is going to be in for a rude awakening when he realises he was thrown under the bus and walked into a trap he blindly walked into himself. Great job with the story though.
