Awesome, awesome story! Sirius totally rocks. I wish he could have done similar things in the books. And don't get me on Harry's Alien mental protection. That was hysterical. Can't wait for Tonks to make her appearance at Hogwarts. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next posted chapter!

Love this story. The only small issue I found in this chapter is the way you used disillusioned right before Moody left Dumbledore's office. Moody would disillusioned with Dumbledore's attitude towards the whole war with Tom. The term you might want is delusional in regards to Dumbledore's actions or more rightly inactions and manipulations of Harry and Sirius.

/When they mentioned the Dementors in the meeting, everyone seem to know about them, but they definitely forgot to tell Amelia earlier, and I don't think that they had told most of he people in the room what happened earlier in the summer.

/I don't like that Sirius forgot to report the Dementors last chapter. He even remembered right before they left. There's no reason that they couldn't have zipped back to Madam Bones to tell her. Or have their lawyers write something up about it and deliver a notarzed statement regarding the event to the appropriate officials.

/That really seems like something that Harry should have at least written a summary of to give to Madam Bones.

/Another thing is that the characters are figuring out things in an unreasonable manner. They jump to, or seem to have intuition of knowledge that we as readers have of the series, but they wouldn't as characters. It's not that big of a deal to me for this story, and you probably already know it, but I just thought I'd mention it.

love the story and will take small errors for what they are, but all in all, i look forward to the next chapter as soon as i read the latest one. At least your muse makes it bearable by making sure it does not take to long to update ;-)

Excellent chapter! I am really enjoying this story. It will be interesting to see if Umbridge still causes trouble in Hogwarts. Harry will be out of her reach, but she may make the mistake of going after his friends, or the muggleborns. I really like Sirius in this story. He would have been much happier in the books if he had broken free from Dumbledore, as would Harry. Your Sirius has taken charge of his own life and is putting Harry's needs first, in addition to jump-starting the war against Voldemort. A fascinating read.

You might want to mark this as an AU story. This whole 'wizards don't celebrate Christmas or other supposed muggle holidays' thing is just completely wrong in canon. Not only does everyone call it the Christmas & Easter Holidays that they celebrate at Hogwarts repeatedly over the entire series- but purebloods who have little to no interaction with the muggle world are shown celebrating Christmas as well, namely the Weasleys & Sirius Black himself.

I get that you're wanting to do this whole 'magical society is completely cut off from the muggle world and thus is kinda pagany' but you do remember that Sirius hated the pureblood society that his parents tried to force on him and openly rebelled against it, right? He even had a motorcycle, which is about as muggle as you can get.

I really loved the opening premise, that Sirius stands up & tries to get the Order to do something useful. Since then, its felt like the focus has kind of drifted here & there between a few different ideas, and I'm not sure which is supposed to be the most important anymore.
