Wow this was perfect. I think you captured their personalities in the best ways possible. I think Liv is harder on Rollins than the rest but she definitely got what she deserved this episode, and I love how you made Carisi know exactly what to say to get through to her there. Fantastic characterization. I loved how you showed how Amanda doesn't like to let her walls down; how she was hesitant to show emotion but also how she was willing to open up to Sonny. I love how Sonny thought about following her, because he considers people's emotions, and then did it. I love how you addressed how Amanda feels about how everyone else is treating her since she's become a mother and how Sonny feels when he realizes he has been part of that. I love that they're honest with each other and recognize their mistakes. This scene feels so canonical, and is beautifully crafted-every word, every sentence, is an absolute gem. I can't wait to read your next Rollisi fic. Five stars, well done.

This was amazing! The "you're makin' me soft/you're makin' me strong" thing killed me :D That's a beautiful way to describe their dynamic, I really do feel like they balance each other out. And I agree about your analysis of Amanda's behavior; how she feels like everyone thinks she will be a different person now that she's a mom, but she doesn't feel different and just wants to prove she can do the job. I wish we got to see more Amanda/Carisi in the show, because I would imagine it something like this.

That was a well written story, very realistic! I think you respected both Amanda and Carisi and it's really something I imagine could have happened. I also like the way Carisi tries to be there for Amanda but doesn't try to dominate her.
