I've just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find this story, and I'm so glad that I have again. I remember reading it as you were first posting it and I still adore it to this day

Late at night here but I'm staying up to indulge myself in this beautiful, bittersweet writing of our favourite musketeer boys, you did so wonderfully with this, thank you for sharing it with us!

You did an amazing job with this story. It felt almost like Dumas himself had decided to take a different spin on his Musketeers.

Beautifully written and had all the elements. Humour, drama, tragedy, love/romance... Everything in just the right amount to make a perfect story.

So true to the BBC characters as well which was awesome.

I haven't been good at reviewing, but I've loved this story from begining to end. I'm really gonna miss it. There's something about the way you write theire brotherhood that just feel so real.

And the end chapter was both fun and cute :) Hope to read more from you!

What a wonderful ride this was!

This fine story was angst-filled and this ending is a mahvelous one: d'Artagnan didn't miraculously heal (it makes the story more believable), the guys eventually healed from their guilt trip and Constance was an essential part of it (even with less "screen time).

I liked the way you managed to have d'Artagnan still part of the guys' and musketeers' lives.
The lesson meted to Durant was a nice touch too, as were the inclusion of the kids. It was fun having Étienne back too, as he was a likeable OC.

All in all: this one's a keeper too! Thanks for sharing it and looking forward to your next story! :-D

Go D'Artagnan! He's can still kick ass. Perfect ending.
