Well, I always liked the direction of the story actually. The setting in the ancient world is truly unique in its own right already, and the fact that you explore the time when the heart of the west shifted is even more so. I have absolutely no idea as to what will happen in the future. I have my theories of course, but as to what will actually happen I truly dont know. And thats exactly what I love about reading! Having no idea of the future, waiting with baited breath to see the adventures of our heroes continue, that shit gets me going!
I really like the dynamic between Zoe and Perseus, too. Its not rushed or forced and their struggles feel very much real. I cant wait for what the next chapter will bring us :D

Heracles did his labors long before the Heart of the West moved from Greece to Rome. Heracles existed around the time of Jason and the original Perseus, about 3 thousand years before PJO takes place. So Zoe should be dead by now since she lost her immortality several centuries previously.
