huh pretty intersting so far. Not to many stories from the xcom2 universe, but I am very interested in seeing where this goes. Curiously, I found your attack on the bridge to be somewhat like how aliens/advent invaded earth. As in a a brutal one sided slaughter by an incredibely powerful foe. to be fair, the Turians where rude and ignorant, I just can't see humanity's response being wholesale slaughter of a weaker force.

Still great chapter, can't wait to see how this all plays out!

My niga you need to update this man! This is going well so far! Also any tips for XCOM 2? Bit of a beginner. Played the first game and I'd like to say I did pretty well. Heard the Faceless and Vipers were a pain tho

A great story so far, I can't wait to too see what will happen if the Turians try to send a "pacification" fleet to conquer them, given their history of being conquered once already.

Great story so far. I think Darnian was a pretty good name for a Turian and his personality fit.

On a side note, minor pet peeve of mine when it comes to Mass Effect stories, keep in mind Quarians have hair, so they and older Asari who remember the Quarians before the Geth War will know the difference between hair and fur.

Darnian sounds more like a swear then a name i recall most turins having war like names(victus vakerian) sound more war like (picture a krogen named phil or a baterian named paul) not very intimidating or new as most aliens are well know known for having cool names

XCOM rocks

The Fight with ADVENT paid off and xcom is very powerful. Maybe a bit overpowered.
The citadelraces should find some counterbalance to keep the story interessting.

The story is true to canon and fun to read. But why doesnt xcom use mass effect tech? Sure the weapons and energytech is secondrate but xcom would grab every advantage they can and infantery shields are definitly an advantage.

I hope the next chapter is along the lines of reaction of the citadel and some resaerch stuff concerning the captured turians and their tech. It would give a deeper unterstanding wit both organisations.

Humanity, FUCK YEAH! But still epic. XCOM2 is much, much fun and adding elements from 1 as well makes this even better.

Ranger with an Arc Blade, GREMLIN doing a capacitor discharge and Grenadier using Saturation Fire, I love it.

Seems a trooper got unlucky and was taken down by a shot to the femoral artery, poor bugger bleed out quickly but that was an awesomely lop sided victory, I'll take it!
