I agree with this. I think that in order to form a stronger and more genuine relationship, each one of the two has to spend more time with the other's alter ego that they are not romantically attracted to, so that they can get a better glimpse of the person behind the mask. I really like the MariChat pairing because Marinette tends to be more open in her original self while it's the opposite for Adrien. Thus, their relationship feels much more natural and less stifled by the fronts that each of them put up.

I love the double revelations going on with both Marinette and Chat Noir simultaneously.

Honestly, this embodies why I like Marichat the best. The midnight balcony talks, a 'princess' and her 'knight', preconceived walls and barriers vanished, and no ackwardness or nervousness.

I hope you plan to still update this story. I binged it all after I found a comic of it dubbed on YouTube, then found the actual comic on DeviantArt. It's that good.

I have been binge reading this the past few days after seeing the link to it in the dub of the comic version on YouTube. It sucks that it's been about a year since the last update but I couldn't stop myself from reading it, I love the marichat so much. This is how I wish it could be done in the show but what do I know, I've been procrastinating on catching up. This fanfic is honestly the only thing getting me to actually want to watch it again. Even though you haven't caught up with the show either, I am absolutely in love with your interpretation of the characters, this is pretty much what I'm hoping to see in the show itself. I hope it continues someday when you have the time and want to continue, thank you again for all your hard work and I wish you luck with your studies.
