Making Oolong Chichi's guardian was a great twist, as was having them both die so they can train with Goku on King Kai's planet was a great twist. I had to laugh at the other chapter at Chichi's reaction to Goku pulling Oolong out our of her shirt. Even though he didn't get why it was inappropriate he didn't mean any harm.

Honestly, Oolong being the comedic character needed throughout this journey is definitely A writing. It’s honestly an element missing in modern Dragon Ball if I do say so.

Also loving his character being there to go through Chi-Chi’s internal Goku struggles as well. Lol

Also, did they reach the planet faster in canon, considering Goku didn't fall off to hell

This story took such a turn that I didn't see coming. I 100% expected some Hercule/Chi-Chi bonding, but instead Chi-Chi ends up dead. I always wondered why it took so long for Goku to make it through Snake Way but Piccolo & the rest made it through so quickly. Skeptical Chi-Chi vs trusting Goku is such an interesting contrast. Love that energy

Good story

Nooo, you cannot do this to me! Why? Why does it always happen this to me? The fanfics I find utterly interesting and promising are never finished. Why? I’m sure now: life hates me.
Okey, my rant is over, let’s get serious:

I loved this! I really really did! It never cease to amaze me the imagination people have and you are certainly one with big creativity. I loved the way you made this AU changing basically everything, and still maintaining the essence of DBZ. There are so much elements I like of this. How the saiyans are coming way more early than in canon, that Goku and Chi-Chi never met again at the tournament, under what circumstances they met again… well, I really liked this as a whole.

But I have to highlight three things that I enjoyed the most because I was not expecting to enjoy them. First off, Oolong. I was not expecting to enjoy his character that much especially since he was going to be around Chi-Chi so much, which could only entail perviness, but I actually liked him here. What it’s more, I appreciated his interactions with Chi-Chi. They were hilarious. Really amazing.

Second, Hercule. Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of the oaf. He exasperates me way too much on the series. I know he is not a bad person, he’s just flawed, way too flawed for his own good. Still, it’s been a couple of times that I read something with him as a main character and I’ve found both of them delightful and that’s only thanks to the way writers portrayed him. So thanks for making him the annoying man he is but giving him more pleasant layers. So far, I really like his relationship with Chi-Chi. They would do a great duo.

Finally, Goku. Well, to be more precise, Goku as a kinda crappy teacher. Yeah, I actually enjoyed this idea a lot. It makes so much sense. Goku like being trained not giving training, so I think will always be a terrible teacher. But I think this is almost canon? I dunno. I just like it. But the cliffhanger you left us on was cruel. You actually killed off both of them, not only Goku but Chi-Chi too. What? If things were not already different, this took another curve for sure. Good grief, this was getting intense.

Overall, an entertaining and funny story you have here. I don’t know if you’re ever going to finish it, and I can’t do anything about it, I can only hope you do. Take care.
