Great read.

Oh my gosh. Oh. My. GOSH! This is amazing! And I have read this whole thing 3 times front to back. I dunno what a blender fic is, but my guess is it's just random merging of fandom universes to create a story. Well my friend, this one struck gold with this reader. Man, where do I start?

Well, the premise was a bulls-eye. Bit dodgy in the opening as it did not seem like Sleeping Beauty or Yu-Gi-Oh!. But, while that may be the case, it still worked out well for your prologue arc. Not to mention using Jaden's Japanese name for his past incarnation was a clever move. Even further is linking those events to the present. It was clever how you made it that only when Alexandra and Judai began hanging out did Yubel get jealous, and even further when the two girls eavesdropped on Judai and had opposite reactions. Then we move into the modern time, and you just expand upon what was already established to help lend credibility to the link. And man, baby Jaden and Alexis reaching out to each other is cute! Then we progress to Duel Academy, and it was a solid move to use the two seasons as a premise for the characters' experiences, that way there are no shortcuts in their relationship like it was in the fairy tale. And man, the twists that occurred with the revelation, the curse being fulfilled, and Jaden fighting tooth and nail to save Alexis, just astounding and marvelous.

As for characters, you helped stay true to much of their core values. Jaden is still a bit of a goof, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. Alexis doesn't get sappy or like people dictating things to her, but she values those close to her. You helped retain what we like about our favorite characters while adding in elements to fit into the blending of stories. Even supporting characters had their roles, like Mana, Dorothy, and Fonda doing their best to thwart Yubel, Chazz being loyal but not without his own stake in the matter (i.e. getting Alexis), and even the parents doing their best in the whole ordeal. This was a well-handled part, and you just made me like them even more. You even managed to mellow out Kaiba and Joey in a believable way, one that honestly would come from age and being parents. I'd say that was a risk you pulled off well.

One part I'd like to say more on was Jaden and Yubel's battle. You could just feel the investment both parties have in that quick-duel. But more importantly, you certainly created a new set of rules that helped mesh this with regular Duel Monsters. It not only helps keep us following the duel itself, but also gives some nice action to enjoy that makes this feel like an actual battle between the prince and the evil sorceress trying to thwart him. And the two spell cards were good integrations with their effects. Especially the Sword of Truth. Love how you used the chant as a means of activating its power.

What else? I don't think I have much else to say. But I can say this:

Uh, hello. This is, uh, kinda awkward. First, let me start by saying, this is Weeb That's A Sheep. I couldn't fit my full screen name in the Name section, because of character limits. Or, as you know me better, the second and third most recent Guest reviews, not counting this one.

But, most importantly, I wanted to come here, humble myself and apologize for the trolling. It was immature, and uncalled for.

I know it isn't an excuse, but the reason behind my trolling is, well, plain and simple, to make myself feel better. I'm not exactly considered cool at my school, I get picked on often, and so I take it out by trying to make others feel bad online, where I won't get swirlied. Or, I should say, I took it out, because all those days of trolling are behind me. I went to therapy, we made some breakthroughs, and I'm trying to turn my life around.

All I ask... no, I beg, is for your forgiveness. I know I was pathetic, but, please, help me be a better person.

You're an amazing writer, and I only trolled out of jealously. I'm sorry for that too.

I dont know if you would want to make a one-shot for the sequel, just showing their life after that, while living with their parents

I like this story a lot, and I'm not a big fan of Alexis/Jaden pairings. You pulled it off really well. I especially love how you incorporate the Sleeping Beauty references. Jaden's dueling fit with his character.
The miscommunications were brilliant. This story expands where the original fairy tale and the Disney movie did not. I very much enjoy reading this story. There are a few things I didn't care for but they're so minor that it doesn't detract from the story. Also, I quit watching after Season 1, and I have enough context from the story to know what's happening, so kudos on that too.

The duel was good...for a Big Lipped Alligator Moment.

This chapter was great! I enjoyed seeing how all the characters had grown over time. My only complaint is that there were plenty of things that could have made their own chapter, like Yubel's infiltration, or Noah and Christine bonding. I can't wait to see Joey and Kaiba duel!

This is without a doubt the biggest piece of garbage in this section. Learn to distinguish proper grammar and characterzation, why don't you.

Awesome, the gang's finally all together! I've been waiting to see the Duel Academy students! And the inclusion of Once Upon A Dream just made me give a cheer! Best chapter so far!

Pretty good, even if it is short. Of course, that could be because I'm starting to like seeing the interactions between the three spirits. Whatever the reason, this was an enjoyable chapter.

Short, but sweet. I'm interested to see the changes to Duel Academy life in this AU.
