God this was so sweet and dynamic. It really stood on its own as a one-shot but at the same time, it felt like a tiny glimpse into a bigger picture. Like I was seeing into a world I was already familiar with. Sick fics are the best and Nicky getting the shit kicked out if he really tugged on my heartstrings. And I really love the wording of his trailing thoughts.

I think one reason I took to WildeHopps so quickly is because Judy with her idealism and desire to be so GOOD and Nick's nonchalant cynicism remind me of Community's Jeff and Annie and that part reminded me of them and why I love pairings like this.

There is that one character who makes the other character strive to be BETTER and they love the first character so much for doing that for them.

Now you're making me cry.
