I've been meaning to leave a lengthier review but haven't had the time to until now. I'm enjoying this story for a good few reasons, I think one of the big ones is it manages to fit really well in the Parasyte universe. Sonia, her current place in life and the events that led up to where she is in life at the start of the story adds more to the world. It doesn't take away nor does it add nothing, it gives more in a believable manner. And her fear of being found out, of humanity is then understood given her perspective on things. You made a character that has connected well with the background you've made for her, and so far she has followed through on it faithfully in her mental and emotional state when anything treads too close to home for her.

As a whole with her character, she is a cute little thing. I like so far how committed to being shy you write her. Because too many times it is a throwaway type deal writers like to do, but your babe has remained a constant in her ways and who she is. I really appreciate your faithfulness to your character and it makes me excited to see how she grows in this story. I also enjoy the things she finds humorous, it's really adorable. She's super endearing.

The format you write in could use some improvement but it's plenty coherent still. Some of your paragraphs jump around, even if they usually tend to keep under the same subject. On the cases they don't, they really don't and it can be a bit difficult to follow. Your grammar and all that could use some care, just going through and rereading misspellings and junk. But overall you're doing well! I'm mentioning this because it wouldn't be fair not to, to you a writer. I've read worse but it's always good to check your work and find your flow and make sure those thoughts and meanings are expressed the way you wish.

I'm enjoying how you're writing the canon characters, you capture them well and their body language. I enjoy especially the dialogue. It's a really believable insight to seeing a more cooperative engagement with the parasites. I like her engaging with Reiko, I really enjoy how she responds on an instinctual level to Gotou. It's also really fun seeing Hiro's interactions and how she responds to all of these individuals differently. What catches her attention with them, what stands out. Etc.

I'm genuinely interested in seeing where this goes. I really look forward to further updates!

I like the "indifferent love" thing you have going on. Makes sense for mostly emotionless Parasites.

Hirokawa that's no way to treat a human in public, the others have been rubbing off on you too much. You're lucky Sonia's not the kind of person to gossip to friends (or have friends) about how rude this new mayor is.

This is an interesting story, although I have to admit I've been skimming some of the larger paragraphs like the one at the top of this chapter. It could've been divided two or three times at least to keep it from feeling like a run-on monologue of description.
