Hmm; the characters really don't sound much like themselves here (I realize puberty is supposed to cover some of that, but even allowing for that, I think you overdid Ruby's redundancy just a bit, and Mr. Thicknose is off too).

Still curious to see how this unfolds.

Well, I have to say that the changes in the characters (well, Cera's much the same) work a lot better in this story than in others I've seen. I do think you went a bit far with the jokes and the swears, but the story itself has potential.

Also, you might try putting the Author's Notes at the start and finish in bold text. Just an idea.

Since you're taking recommendations, considering the subject of this story, I think Littlefoot recognizing his feelings for Ali would be an interesting plot point.

For humans, eating rotten "tree sweets" just makes them act stupid and irrational. (wine)
