Four years and no update. Better have a good excuse for not delivering on this surprisingly good story.

Seriously, the last two episodes were rushed trash. My objective with this fic is to fix that.

Aaah, if only this fic were continued. ERASED was great, but its ending was just so.. unsatisfactory, no? Ah well. Do what pleases you, friend. You're not obligated to anything.

I have to say, I really enjoyed this. I just finished the anime and was disappointed with the ending. I hope you come back to this at some point.

Oh god, I completely agree. The first ten episodes had been literally warped into the anime. I was exhilarated in the 'Christmas Tree' scene, thrilled when Aya had even Kenya spluttering, and cried when Hinazuki had her first proper breakfast in Satoru's house.

But the last two episodes.

Goddammit.

I think of that suicide gate on the roof and I lose more brain cells than I can afford.

Man, every time I revisit this it just gets better and better. Aged like a fine wine, and I'm still dying for the next chapter.

I know this is on hold for you, author, but I'd love to see it continued someday!

I JUST FINISHED WATCHING THE ANIME AND THE ENDING WAS SO ANNOYING ESPECIALLY WHEN I SAW THAT KAYO ENDED UP WITH HIROMI I WAS LIKE WTFFFF satoru saved both of yall and this is how you repay him?! well tbh i was more upset about hiromi i mean he must have known how special kayo was to satoru im just so ughh thats like against bro code right. i cant believe that kayo and satoru didnt end up together im just so salty :(( like im upset they deserve to be together i felt like airi and satoru being together was a bit too forced aswell, we saw more developments with kayo and satoru so it just made sense that they would end up together sighs i like your rewrite of this though ! And im just gonna pretend that kayo and satoru ended up together the anime would have been perfect

After being reminded of Erased and how the its ending left a sour taste in my mouth, I ended up here, reading the most followed Erased fanfic, as far as I know.

Regardless of the story looking like it won't be continued, it was still a fun read.

Like most, I'm also rather unhappy with how the last 2 episodes went for the anime, though not because of who Satoru ended up with, so this was a nice read :)
