It's cute Jaune sees Glynda as a mother figure.

Well, looks like Pyrrha got a lovely view of Jaune this morning and got to apologize, after he nudged her to give her the hint. Awkward breakfast, lunch, or dinners tend to be bad for friendships. So it's best they all said their apologies and I can see Team RWBY wanting to apologize for Jaune getting hurt for their sake. Friends and more are like that.

Damn, should've known Pyrrha would flip if she found any injuries on him, considering his lack of proper training him being injured is higher than Team RWBY or Sun. She even dented the doorknob in anger before yelling at Jaune. Granted at that time her words were purely because she cared, but lashing out on Yang and Blake who came to check up on him was wrong of her.

Good to see Jaune make that clear to her, though he and Team RWBY will have to deal with detention from Miss Goodwitch now that she knows. Not that I blame her given her position and how she cares for her students, but it will suck for them.

Got to admit, Jaune getting involved in finding Blake and reuniting the team because of Ruby, I can see coming. Why he took the ribbon instead of flat out saying no, not sure, but it was for the best. Though oddly, I can see a Blake x Jaune story starting like this just as much as it works for Yang x Jaune, as both could see him as someone who cares for them and will do something risky/idiotic/stupid/foolish in the eyes of many in order to look out for those he cares for.

It's nice Jaune is now someone Yang can bring herself to not act tough around, she can just show all her worries to him and not worry about being judged for it.

I hope you continue this work as well. The lead up to the date felt right and I love to see how it will pan out.

This is a really nice story. I liked how Yang wasn't pussyfooting in her head. I really dislike it when the subject of a romance story has some internal dialogue that looks like
'No way... There's no way I like x, right? right?
blablabla ' over and over again only to realize it way, way later. It's annoying, it makes the character seem childish and it looks unrealistic. I thank you for not doing that.
