Thank you for being not one of but the best Castle Fanfiction writer out there. I'm depressed now that Castle will not be Castle anymore. You have a much better sense of these two than the two new goofballs that took over do. I hope u will continue to write about these two from time to time. Fan fiction is the only way we will get our happily ever after. ABC has screwed us all. Anyway thank you sincerely for all your wonderful stories. I particularly love Dash and Ellery stories. They are perfection. Just felt like venting some. Hope this keeps u inspired to write.

I never particularly craved Caskett babies (and sometimes I think that not wanting babies, especially if you're a woman, is one of the last taboos in a society where we increasingly, and thankfully, accept just about every other lifestyle choice) and I never thought it would be terribly fitting for them (not in the way it is for Ryan and Jenny anyway). That Castle, already having an adult child wouldn't necessarily want to go back to diapers and sleepless nights and Kate, being as driven as she is, wouldn't necessarily embrace motherhood. That the two of them, just as they are, are not only enough, but fulfilled. And I feel like you captured that beautifully here, even as you examined Kate's doubts about her own feelings.

Ooh interesting twist! I didn't see this level of emotion coming, I really enjoyed it :)

This was a wonderful look at Kate's thoughts about motherhood and being in the moment.

You've also done a great job in showing why she's afraid of getting pregnant due to their current covert investigation. Having Castle be so understanding was good and also willing to help Kate to live in the moment so not to worry about things.

The last line to close things out was perfect.

God, what an amazing story! You just write these people so perfectly! I absolutely love your observations on how Kate sees the changes in Rick, how hitting his wall, finding his hard limit affects their relationship. How well they know and understand each other, and yet can still be surprised. How she pretends not to notice his need to check on her in the middle of the night, his difficulties moving past their separation. Rick's seemingly infinite capacity for forgiveness and hope. I love their relationship, but I love the way you write about their relationship SO MUCH. Thanks for sharing your story.
