Reviews for The Reclaimers
Cmedina1 chapter 9 . 8/23
Wow Lasky basically lied to the council members since the UNSC knows that the Forerunners committed suicide by activating Halo to defeat the Flood. Nice chapter and liked the Arbiter as always.
ZenithTempest chapter 9 . 8/22
So I'll preface my comment by noting I rather like Halo and find RWBY's lore to be a joke most of the time, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
I find the behavior of the UNSC and Swords to be laughable here. These are two interstellar factions with about a thousand habitable worlds between them dealing with pre-space flight primitives, two factions that are generally authoritarian at that. The idea that they're talking to the Kingdoms as if they were equals, not roaches as they are by comparison is both odd generally but more so when you consider how the UNSC and Swords actually behave. Unless the UNSC is there to enforce their mandate to 'oversee all of humanity', they have no need to waste their time with obstinate councilors, the Sanghelli even less so. And even then, they could simply force Remnant's tiny population onto ships, leave and glass the planet with minimal logistical difficulty. If they're only after the artifacts, sit a cruiser over each Kingdom and dare them to step out of line.
You did nail the council members though: overconfident, pompous, completely ignorant of how overmatched they really are.
I say all this to say that after going through this story, it's hard to find this scenario believable. Based on what's known of the UNSC and Swords, they wouldn't be entertaining the Kingdom's demands in the slightest, so it feels like you've nerfed or otherwise relegated them to supporting characters to RWBY's conflict. In fairness, that's more or less what you'd expect from this crossover and it's what's advertised in the summary, but it feels like one of the dangers of crossing over two fandoms of extremely different power levels.
Apologize for the long-windedness, this is basically a review for the whole story, as I read it in one sitting.
MarauderPrime12 chapter 9 . 8/22
Excellent chapter
But long winded in but overall
A.N.S.N.A chapter 9 . 8/22
Yoy should tell the truth about human covenant war to the remnents and human forerunner war too
Lord Demolitions chapter 9 . 8/22
I like this chapter. I hope Lasky and some Spartans do go to Beacon just to observe the combat capabilities of Huntsmen by watching them spar.
CheesusChrist15 chapter 2 . 8/21
Ngl, whoever edits your story isn’t doing a very good job
Davie Wilson chapter 9 . 8/21
love it
Rinter215 chapter 9 . 8/21
Oh Ozzy ozzy ozzy... Such a naive little shit. The UNSC and Sangheili quite literally have nothing to gain from your holy war with your ex. That’s like asking a SEAL to help fight a turf war in LA. Yes Forerunner structures are valuable to the Halo universe, but come on, If you can’t touch them, then there’s no risk to the Unsc-sangheili to push for time.

Even Salem in all her grimm like powers would not survive a full on barrage by the Arbiter’s forces.

let’s see how this pans out
War chapter 8 . 7/6

Ghostly chapter 8 . 6/10
What I meant in my last comment was strike fear into the people of Remnant to the point that they will begin a small arms race in terms of technology, planetside defense weapons, fortifications, contingency plans, airship or craft well armed and can reach the edge of the atmosphere for dust to still be functional, and lastly up the militia to a S.D.F.

This is just my opinion of how Remnant would react to a now fragmented threat that almost drove humanity to extinction or a parasitic race that consumes all things. I know Ironwood would do something like this to a limit, and let me say something similar to another author about the Atlas General, ‘that arrogant a** puts WW1 commanding officers to shame.’
Mad King C chapter 8 . 6/9
