P.P.P.S If you don't like the ending to LND, I am writing an E/C sequel to LND. Just thought I would let you know.:) Thanks for writing such wounderful stories. Your obedient sevent's wife, His Christine. |
emeraldphan chapter 1 . 8/18/2016 Considering this was your first fanfic, it's really good! I love the allusions to Greek mythology and the parallels between Psyche's story and their own. One thing I often notice about Erik/Christine stories is that their relationship is often very one-sided - it's usually Erik teaching Christine or reading to her, etc. In this, Christine is introducing her teacher and mentor to a story he's not familiar with and using it to teach him something in a subtle way. It's beautifully done and has some lovely descriptions, such as Erik's "black wells of unseeing pain". I loved this. |
Mominator124 chapter 1 . 8/15/2016 You know, I've thought that there were certain similarities between Psyche and Christine's stories. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I liked the fact that Christine brought her own book to Erik's place to read, as I cannot imagine him being much interested in that sort of thing, especially considering his thoughts of the Greeks and their tragedies. jennyfair chapter 1 . 5/26/2016 Your telling of the Cupid & Psyche myth here is lovely, and it pairs so well with Erik & Christine's story! |

Pirate Phan chapter 1 . 3/14/2016 Wow! This is amazing! I'm looking forward to reading ALL of your stories! Thank you for writing this, I loved the added mythological legends, and the relation between the stories and the love of Eric and Christine. You did a really good job drawing the audiences attention to the fire which gave a rich feel in the story. Good job! |
