Good story. My mind is still a jumble after seeing CW. I don't know what to think about the whole thing. Clint is my favorite and I wonder how Laura is dealing with him being on the run.

One thing I never really thought of-Steve was the hero who asked his friends for help for once. It's kind of refreshing after all the lone-wolf heroes like Harry Potter.

Honestly, Clint should never have left his family at all. He retired so that he could be with them more and the he leaves them again because Cap called him in. Man..

I waited till I saw Civil War to read this, which I finally was able to do last weekend, and I only just got the chance. All of it—so true, so heartbreaking. Steve having to face the reality that he may not regret what he did, because he did it in order to save his friend, but he has to deal with fallout of his own choices of prioritizing Bucky over his other friends. (It's also a comfort to read the Steve we know and love because then I can forget what they did to him.) His last line hit me right in the feels, about how one thing needed to come out unbroken. If anything should prevail, it should be the Barton family. The AoU quote also set the stage pretty well, since we see their foreshadowing played out.

He'll figure it out, it's Marvel. And he's Clint. You know he will (: Love the Clint and Steve friendship stuff in here (:

I'm still heartbroken over the team bursting like that. But it was great seeing Clint come to the rescue *grins* - well, he tried, that's all that matters.

omfg the feels. I saw civil war last wednesday already but boy the feels will not leave. I would want to see it again because I can't quite comprehend the whole movie yet. great story
