I remember the word "Talasam" from somewhere but can't pinpoint it. And while Google didn't pull up a definition... the images seemed to pop up, and boy do they inspire the creeps. Looking forward to how this plays out.

I LOVE this idea. Gritty and dark, just the way I like it.

Also the Talasam is a creature from Bulgarian folklore which dwells in dark places like attics and comes out at night to terrorize children.
