I have read countless stories like this, However, I never shed a tear for any but this. The way Hiccups relationship comes about to how it ends is perfectly crafted.

So far I can’t see why this story is m rated: no sex no gore no foul language the only thing even slightly disturbing is hiccups cutting and how he kept bringing up his thoughts of sucide

Just wanna say sorry bout the last review was slightly overtired. After continuing to read i see now where you were headed with that relationship and it worked out. Great job love it and glad to see a more true side to Hiccup for a period of after 6 years.

Dont know if to read anymore your other stories are great but the end of this chapter i feel conflicted, cause from what i have read it seemed like you were building hiccup to never again accept stoick and i will be honest that kinda seemed very fitting sure valka would have gone but she is not that interesting anyway. Just my thoughts so far if he does accept his father can you please send me a private message cause then that will basically explain the rest of the story for me. Cheers. Also nothing on your writing of strories they are fantastic and awesomely done, is just this one here at this point in the story im unsure about. No offense to your talent of writing.

All I'm imagining now is the riders and the Grimborns from canon somehow seeing this and someone mentioning the ides that Viggo could be from this fic kidnapped and transferred to their universe meaning that Hiccup would have a son who hates dragons, is older than him and wants him dead. Makes me want to laugh at the looks on their faces. Bit strange that he called him that, but he doesn't know that he's given his son the same name as the leader of the dragon hunters, having never met them. I may have rambled a bit, sorry. Love the story :) Haven't seen one where Hiccup runs away to join the Outcasts before.
