Just made it to this chapter. It's good, but one thing confuses me. Up until now, you made it seem as though Overwatch was unaware that Reaper was really Reyes, that they believed Reyes had died in the explosion. Here you have Genji call him "Gabriel" and yet, nobody seemed shocked. Is there a reason for that?

I read the story up until here, and it's excellent. Sounds like how the game could be, if it had a story mode. I hope you continue the story one day. Just one question, what's your issue with "Never gonna give you up"? I love that song.

I have read your story up to this point. It is pretty good. I hope you finish. I am curious about one thing. Why you suddenly changed the style. What I mean is, up until this point, the story was completely third person. This chapter you switched between first and third like you couldn't make up your mind, and in later chapters, which I skimmed through, you completely changed it to first person. Is there a reason for that, and if so, what is it?

I hate to be the asshole who points this out but there was some lore problems in this chapter. Reaper only joined Talon AFTER the fall of Overwatch and had nothing to do with Widowmaker's brainwashing which occurred months if not a couple of years before. Widowmaker also was let loose to kill her husband before her skin was turned blue.

Can't wait until the other characters are introduced! I love the way you write this story, I honestly love it.
