ive read the entire thing and let me tell ya, this is bloody brilliant! I love this story and it just makes me want to grovel and beg, CAN WE HAVE MORE FRIENDSHIP RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HICCUP AND SNOTLOUT!

Okay so im gonna be real honest here. I actually found this story through another authors favorited stories. At first i was skeptical cause i hadn't taken the dive into reading a pirate AU with the HTTYD characters. So my first thoughts were ' this is probably not gonna be that great and boring ' , but let me tell you quite the contrary. Within a few chapters i was enthralled with the storyline, the action, the heartache, the tense chapters. It was fantastic and i feel this story of yours has set the bar high for other Pirate AU's.

Captain Fury Pirate of Berk had me on the edge of my seat with about 3/5 of the chapters but let me tell you, those feelings were warranted and not over-bearing. The chapters sometimes had me so excited as i read them i could hardly keep still and stop me from grinning with a huge smile on my face, and some chapters where i just had to laugh. There were some chapters were i felt strong emotions for things happening.

Overall though i'm glad i decide to take a dive in to the cold icy waters of a pirate AU, it was a thrilling and adventurous journey. Excellent AU love it

Daamn, this was one very, very long fic... but worth it! Some points:
- I agree that at first it seems a bit sudden that Hiccup forgives Astrid after what she did... but when you think about it, I find it very true to his character. He isn't someone to hold a grudge, and very forgiving, and when you really care about someone, it's hard to hate them. So it makes perfect sense. By contrast, it also makes sense that Stoick hasn't really been forgiven... because he didn't change his mind until the very end.
- Writing Toothless in the way you did was very unique, and I really enjoyed their dynamic! It was very sweet, and gave Hiccup a more humane side.
- I do wish that Mathilda had got some comeuppance... because her actions, in the end, are kind of what caused Astrid to get stabbed. Maybe not have something happen to her, but at least let her see the consequences of what she did. A little guilt wouldn't have hurt her.
But anyway, this was a really good fic, as always!
