Civil War is my least favorite of the Marvel movies, for numerous reasons. Clint's being one of them. Don't blame the heroes for trying to save people.

Oh thank you for writing and addressing this issue! Vision couldn't have been more wrong and it grates that because he is supposed to be super smart his comment is taken as fact when it's not even true. It didn't even apply to the fight between the Avengers because Steve gathered his teammates together to go with him to stop five other enchanted super soldiers that specialize in death and destruction!
Only thing I disagree with is Hulk not being a product of bad science and reaction to war opponents. Banner was arrogant and was trying to recreate the super soldier serum under Ross, who then flips on Banner after the incident Banner was forced to flee. The same Ross who comes Thor and Hulk nukes on the loose in the film. So yeah, Thor is the only one naturally born the way he is.

Excellent rant, er, I mean scene. You had Clint say everything I've been muttering at various volumes and intensities since seeing the movie.

Loved this, especially how oblivious Clint was at the end of it!

A rant which, nevertheless, NEEDED to be written! Excellent work! My only suggestion is that it would maybe flow better if you put in a few more pauses throughout the speech, so we could visualize everyone's reactions to the words or Clint's behavior as he's speaking. That would help make it easier to read and more meaningful as a story. GREAT work, though! Loved every bit of it.

You and Clint are exactly right!
To be fair to Vision, he's only a year old. He knows a lot but it takes time to fit together all the puzzle pieces.
