Why would he turn Joseph? There is absolutely no reason to do so and don't say cause you have plans for him later that's just bad writing. Johnny was someone he was friends with and Mileena while idiotic at least had knowledge and powers that could be useful to him but Joseph has nothing that Alex could want or need.

The quality has started decreasing in the last couple chapters, too. Like missing words or you using the wrong words.

Wait didn't Alex infect Mileena with the pinklight? Cause it looks like he infected her with the blacklight and that don't make any kind of sense. She was an enemy and a complete stranger.

prototype and Saints Row... what a time to read a book

I'm crying... and I don't mean that as a joke. I'm literally crying. I binged this entire fic and I.. just fell in love with it. I'm depressed there isn't more, do fucking depressed, but I'm happy that you haven't given up on it. I love this series, and I hope and pray to see more from it soon. Thank you for everything you've written up until now, it was a pleasure reading it all. Thanks for the chapters.

I must say, I am incredibly relieved by this announcement. I was somewhat upset by the news that this story's hiatus had evolved into a cancelation but this has elated the sadness I felt. I am happy that this incredible story hasn't died and I will, as always, patiently await your next release.

Welp... Go me (And it is a he, by the way)! Whoop! Anyway, now with the self-congratulating out of the way, glad I could be of assistance. Marvel or DC would both work equally well though I still stand by my opinion that Alex would fit it better in Marvel rather than DC. Still, Having characters/circumstances that would be both (eventually) used to and capable of dealing with all Prototype entails would certainly help with cohesiveness; otherwise you just get what bogged down this story: having to hide/downplay Alex's abilities, having most other characters have no idea how to deal with Alex (Though, I imagine Alex would be treated similarly to the Hulk if he is in Marvel; a potential weapon in the eyes of people like Nick Fury and Thaddeus Ross as well as a potential danger to all around them, Hulk with his rampages and Alex because they fear he might be contagious if they find out he is essentially a living bio-weapon) and without having to bloat the cast by picking and choosing from so many other sources for characters (Though, it can work if you are very careful with it).

I loved the crossover elements.

If you were going to do another Prototype crossover fic with elements of Saints Row involved; I would recommend A Prototype/Marvel crossover personally with Stillwater as Alex's Gotham and the Saints as his "company" that he runs like Bruce. It would give you a whole host of characters that can deal with and are used to things like Alex's situation so that he isn't a major outlier within the story. It would also be easy enough to make him an anti-hero or a full blown hero if you manage to swing it into your story given that Marvel tends to have a less "Black and White" view in relation to what their heroes can do. Obviously, rather than New York being the centre of the Blacklight Virus, you could transport Raccon City into the setting to have that be the city that gets destroyed and forgotten (Though, not by the nuke; probably something else). Meaning you don't have to worry about why one of the central hubs for supers in New York is a festering infected hellhole and why the infested area still exists i.e. it actually got destroyed and cleansed. Plus, it gives you a whole host of both female and male characters to go along with the limited in comparison cast from Prototype and Saints Row. Of course, this is just a passing thought I had so feel free to ignore it if it doesn't interest you.

Well that’s disappointing, this was the first story from you that I read that I found on some random google search. This was what kept me hooked to you until you made the others that I’ve read, Am I sad to see it go? Yes. Do I understand why you want to hit the restart button? Of course I do. Their your stories man you can do whatever you want from them, I’m just hoping that you get the feeling to make another saints row story cause despite its popularity there’s actually not that much good saints row crossover stories, or at least ones that have stuck to me. Good luck man, I’m rooting for ya
