   BlueBlender chapter 2 . 6/20/2016 Huh, I thought the reason the Firekeeper acts the way she does was because she got the Firekeeper's Eyes from the Unkindled. Regardless, the interaction between her and him are small, but affirming. A note though: if you have to explain plot-relevant stuff like how Oobleck knows their language in "Author's Note", that's not a very well-executed explanation. It breaks immersion, especially for the readers who simply ignore them and are left wondering. You could have had Oobleck explain to everyone (even if it's a bit shoehorned, as long as you're terse with it) how he came to know it. Heck, everyone, audience included, knows he's a history buff so you could have just left them to infer to such a solution. On a better note, it seems like from the havoc going on, that this is taking place in the season 2 finale. Yang is perfectly fine, and so is the Atlas army, so I'm looking forward to how the Ashen One will impact the story from there. It's good to know our AO isn't some angsty bitch of an OC. No, he mourns for a while, doesn't bawl like that one kid on the bus or train, and gets ready for action. In too many DS crossovers, have seen an OC being a tragic-backstory-ridden teenage archetype that doesn't even impact his character or behavior. Good to see a solemn but mature man take the lead. |

| Sociopathic-Antichrist chapter 1 . 6/13/2016 Well now, this is rather fascinating. The role of the handmaiden and the chosen undead in this setting remind me all too well of the legend of the Jewish Golem who would only every awaken should its charge be threatened. Very intriguing, and I am exceptionally eager to see what transpires next. Will souls form the basis of dust with miracles, sorcery and pyromancy imbuing them? Will definitely be following this. By the way, Ruby and the Scythe from those damged bird-men in Road of Sacrifices. Very nice. Cheers SA |
