Love me some protective, badass Ratchet!

I'm so glad to see this continued (even if it took me a month or two to realize you had updated). As always, I loved these. These wonderful glimpses of their lives and their friendship is just so perfect. And "Snatch"... Poor Ratchet was a bit traumatized by losing his best friend for two years. I'm not surprised that he reacted badly.

Safety: Hehehe, this one was a pretty cool one, and I couldn't help but laugh at the banter that occurred between the two of them! Oh Ratchet... at least you were prepared for this one...
Old: Oh, these boys... I swear, with each one of these oneshots, it really feels like these two can do anything they set their minds to. This one was beyond sweet, and I feel like this one's got to be my favorite out of this batch!
Sand: Oof, with summer right around the corner, this is a good piece to kick things off! Gotta love the beach and the sand that comes with it, even if the sand will get everywhere... Nice job on this one!
Kitty: *SPOILERS... I think?* I think Ratchet would be an orange tabby if he were a regular housecat (least, I think that's as close as he could be to an Earth cat, discluding wild cats). Although, I couldn't help but bust out laughing at Ratchet's reaction to a Sphinx. Ratchet, you don't know half of it! There are hundreds of weird creatures on our planet...
Anniversary: Ok, ok... this one's now my fav from this batch. This one was just wonderful to read, and I got to say, I really like it when Ratchet and Clank dip into each other's personality. It keeps things a bit more fresh, and I always like seeing the two of them act like each other in certain situations. Aw, this one is a just a treat! :'D
Combat: *SPOLIERS* Again, I'm really liking this new little burst of excitement from the characters. Gotta love that Clank won, and I couldn't help but laugh at the last few lines!
Bland: *SLIGHT SPOILERS* Hmm, wonder what that little herb was... It was a pretty cool thing to bring in, and I liked the fact that there was a bit of mystery to the thing. And eheh... wonder what that herb was to make everything taste so good.
Snatch: Oh goodness! This one was a perfect one to end on, my goodness! I loved the action in this one, and I definitely loved that ending! Aw Ratchet... Clank, give that boi some hugs, since Ratchet really needs them. I loved this, and I'm glad this one was the last story I needed to read before I got all caught up!

Sorry if I've been taking it slow on these reviews the past few days. Things have been a bit hectic. I'll see if I can finish the rest of the reviews today!

Trust: Oh, this is me and my sister when it comes to video games. Well, on kid games. We can't play actual video games together since we're extremely bad at video games. But goodness, this is totally us! I love it, and it makes me want to play a game with my sister. I might do that once she's out for the summer...
Guilt: Quite the underhanded move there Clank. Well, at least Ratchet may eat healthier for the next few days... maybe the reverse psychology will work?
Innocence: I mean... Clank's got thousands of years to change and learn from life. 11 years is a blink of an eye to him, so maybe his character will continue to grow and change with time? And there's definitely some more change that Ratchet's going to face throughout his life too, so I'm sure the boys will be very different by the end of their lives. This was a cute one, and it brought up a lot of good points!
Unstable: *SPOILERS* Oi vey Ratchet! Perhaps you should just let the moth get close to you (or land on something) then hit it with a fly-swatter instead of trying to nail it with your wrench. There's a lot less possible escape routes for a moth when you use a fly-swatter instead of a giant Omniwrench...
Bird: Another one to "Oi vey" at. Good goodness, Ratchet sure has a way of attracting trouble... Lol, and Clank, you aren't helping!
Stale: Oh Ratchet... you need better eating habits... :'D
Soar: Aw, this one was really cute! Definitely loved the adorable way Clank responded to Ratchet on that one! :D
Fix: Ok, I would really like to see more of this one if you ever wanted to write a fic for it. This one had to be the most interesting out of this batch, and I quite liked the adorable way Ratchet tried to fix up Clank. I really liked this one, and I would love to see an extension of this!

Yo-yo: Aannnnd... I strongly relate to Clank on this one. That's about me with anything I try besides giving reviews. My friends can toast me in tons of things... lol, adorable short!
Egg: Hehehe, ok, this one was fun cause of the puns. I do love those puns and I "cracked" a huge smile at them. Eheh... I'll... try and get better at making puns. :'D
Dent: I now have an image of Clank's antennae now flying a little neon green flag as the robot walks across the street. Lol, this one was just perfect, and I still can't get enough of the duo doing all they can to protect each other, major or minor. Wonderful job on this one!
Bunny: Oh, hahahaha! This one was a good one, and I laughed out loud at the last few lines. A bunny indeed! Hahaha!
Falcon: Oh boy! Ratchet... oof, I am so sorry you had to go through all that. I definitely would have been frustrated after all that happened!
Glitter: Oooh, now that would be an interesting Grummelnet weapon. And... I'm not joking? I think it'd be pretty sick if there was an over-the-top, silly gun like that. Or, a cheat you can get for your Grenade Launchers that can do that.
Puzzle: Oof, I don't like those cubes myself. They're a pretty big headache, and I can understand how frustrating they can be.
Vacant: Aw... an angsty one to end us off. And a really good one too. I love this one the most out of this batch; it was bittersweet, and I'm glad Clank was there to help Ratchet with how he felt.

I need to charge my computer for a bit, but hopefully I can give another review soon!

Another day, and more reviews (I was quite busy today, so I am sorry for the late reviewing)! *SPOILERS IN THE REVIEWS* (Sorry if they have spoilers, some of these I just can't avoid spoiling if I want to talk about them)

Spicy: Oh goodness... spicy foods. I'm weak as heck when it comes to spicy or hot foods. It's weird though, since I like reading characters that can chug a bottle of hot sauce and barely break a sweat (I think I just like reading about characters that don't relate back to me. Sometimes). This one was a treat to read!
Apology: Daw, this was another sweet one! It's quite adorable, since it shows how close they are as friends. Even though Clank's mad, he isn't mad for long, and I think it's something that true best friends share. They can't stay mad at each other for too long... :)
Tourist: Oooh goodness, I've been a tourist in different countries before, so I know what it's like? Eheh, I think there were some people in those countries that were like Ratchet (I totally didn't mean to do some of the "tourist things" I did; it was my first time out of the country, pretty young, and I didn't know any better). Nonetheless, I'm thankful Clank was the voice of reason for Ratchet. Definitely saved a few tourists from having an angry Lombax on their butts
Mirror: OK?! THIS WAS SO ADORABLE?! I LOVED IT?! This one stretched my lips out and before I even finished reading the short, I had a huge grin on my face. I like the thought of Clank getting ready for the day, but also being a goof and messing around in front of the mirror! God, this was way too cute, I think this one's won as my favorite of the batch!
Door: *snorts* I can hear the THUNK echoing out... Oh goodness, be more careful Ratchet...
Chocolate: DAW! *I swear some of these are just pulling the "Daw"s right out of me* The Friendship is strong in this one...
Leap: I hope Ratchet landed in first, then once Clank landed, Ratchet splashed the little bot with some water and proceeded to tease Clank mercilessly. Oof, this is cute, and I really like Clank trying some of the things Ratchet does (even if they aren't 100% safe). Great job on this one!
Respond: Oof, these two have each other's backs and I love it so much it hurts. This one was another good battle one, and I don't have much else to say that I love the fact that the two of them watch out for each other, and that you portray it in a fantastic way!

Hehe, you know, I wouldn't mind seeing some of these branch off into their own stories. There's a lot of potential that these stories have, and if you made a couple of oneshots off of them, then I would love to read what you come up with! But for now, onto the little oneshots! *SOME SPOILERS MAY BE INCLUDED IN THESE REVIEWS*

Lombax Nip: Oh goodness, I have cats of my own, so I definitely know what happens when you give em catnip (or at least I think so). I hope Ratchet gets home ok... X'D I had a pretty good laugh at this one, and I couldn't help but run over to my tabby cat and give him a kiss on the head. Oof, such a cute little oneshot!
Resist: Ratchet became extremely innovative in this one, holy cow Ratchet! That's not fair to Clank when you bring out the multiple puppy dog eyes! This one might be my favorite out of this batch! (Sorry to sound like a broken record, but some of these shots stick out more than others, and I like to label them as my favorites if they make me feel super good or make me laugh real hard... or if they're wonderfully written angst)
Small: Aw, this was a cute one, especially since it made a connection to something both Ratchet and Clank share. Not much else to say that this was an adorable one!
Root Beer: Not a big root beer fan, but I do have the worst sweet tooth, and I have to limit myself once I'm around a supply of sugary drinks. Man, Ratchet is so relatable in all these stories X'D hahaha...
Temptation: Oh boy, Ratchet isn't relatable anymore eheh. If that boi's gunna bet all his bolts then leap off a cliff... you, I don't think I can do that. *sweats* Quite the oneshot I must say, and one that did have some temptation for a certain Lombax in it...
Pull: I admittedly haven't stayed up until the early hours of the morning playing video games, but it does sound like a fun thing to do. And I kind of have to agree with Clank there; I hate sleeping in. I guess it's because I'm so busy all the time, but it feels like I'm wasting productive hours that could be used to get work done. So eheh, gunna have to side with Clank on this one Ratchet...
Rain: HAHAHA! Ok, this one was sweet, funny, and I giggled out loud when I read it. Ohh, payback isn't fun is it Ratchet? ;) This one might be my favorite out of this one, and I mean it.
Recognition: 0_0 ... excuse me? I- *flips table* How? This? This is my favorite? NOt just in this batch, but out of all the ones you've done? I- I love this one?! It's beautiful?! I'm shook?! Ok, so... yeah, disregard everything I said above, this one is wonderful and I thank you for writing this one.

It's getting late and I'm starting to lose coherency in my thoughts, so I think this is a good time to call it for the day. I'll be reviewing more tomorrow, but these are a wild ride to read! Gunna have to put this story in my Favs, cause dang, this is just amazing.

Okie doke, another batch! Sorry if I don't have that much to say for the little review intros. At this point, I'm just eager to dive right into the little stories! :D *There may be a lot more spoilers this time around though. I can't really avoid them, so I apologize for my spoiled reviews*

Nightmare: *breathes in* MMMMMMMMM! I'm going to say, this is my favorite thing to do with characters. I love giving one (or both) nightmares that end in cuddles and comfort, and I love the way you wrote this little short. I am guilty of having the Nightmares chapter so early on in my stories, and I don't think I can talk enough about how much I love this little trope. Thank you for this wonderful little oneshot; this one might be my fav out of the batch!
Sushi: Ok, I am not a sushi fan myself, but I have the worst time using chopsticks, so I can strongly relate to Ratchet. Every time I feel like I know how to use chopsticks, I find out very quickly that I don't. Quite the adorable... and relatable... oneshot!
Thrill: The next few shots are really short, so I may not have much to say for them, but this one was a pretty cute one. I loved the way you wrote this one, and I smiled at the last line.
King: Same Ratchet. Again, highly relatable, and reminds me that I should get better at playing chess sometime in the future. And learn how to get better at card games. And video games. And-
Lost: Hehehe, Ratchet, Clank's only looking out for you. Hopefully, you'll get that you won't be able to find it after a while and turn in for a nap or go get some food.
Mimic: Hehehe, another one I can't help but giggle at this one too. I've got to say, you write a lot of funny ones, and they always seem to brighten my day when I read them!
Eyes: I think that's what happens when you know someone for so long. You can just tell ho they feel about something, and you can kind of guess just by looking at how their face moves.
Bullet: WHOA! More angst to end on, that isn't always a bad thing. Especially since a lot of these have been happy and humorous so far. A really good one to end off on, and one that continues to show how close these two are!

A fantastic job, and while I may take a while to do another review (I have to put my computer in to charge for a little bit), I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Freedom: Ok, I love the Hoverboots in CIT. Like, during the entire time I don't have them, I'm just pressing the Hooverboots button wishing I could have them. So once I get them it's an amazing feeling that I think you captured pretty well. And I gotta say, the little short was a wonderful piece that I could picture in my head, and I felt the adrenaline rush through my veins as it did with Ratchet! A very nice short, and one that does an excellent job at exciting the reader!
Lopsided: OH MY GOD NO CLAAANKKK! Oh the poor robot! Ratchet, you're gunna be the death of him if you keep doing crazy stuff like that! Oh goodness, this oneshot made me laugh and worry for Clank's life at the same time. This one might be my favorite out of this batch (I think I might just choose favs out of each batch if that's alright with you lol)
Startle: Oof, I know how that feels. Those things always seem to catch you unawares, and you about jump six feet in the air once they go off. Hehehe, well, least the boys were ready and prepared in case of emergencies! :D
Dreamer: And yet another "DAW!" has been spoken out loud. Ok, this was such a sweet oneshot, and I love the adorable character interactions that happened in it! I don't know if this one might be my new favorite one out of this batch, but it definitely comes close. Goodness, you did a fantastic job on this one!
Eradicate: *SPOILERS* Oh Ratchet's screwed. Eheheh, I think that was one of the first things that came out of my mouth when I saw the, well, Zurkon scene from the movie. Hopefully Ratchet fixes that one up soon... or... perhaps a blaster would also help fix the rogue Zurkon. It'd get them off their tails.
Cap: Heh, I'm surprised Clank was so inattentive, but at the same time, I can very much relate to the little bot. A super sweet oneshot!
Sweet: Aw, this one was, well, sweet! I love seeing the shenanigans Ratchet comes up with, and I couldn't help but giggle at the ending lines. Oh Clank, you have a handful to deal with when it comes to the last Lombax...
Giddy: Oh goodness, that had to be wild! I feel quite bad for the residents of Veldin... This was a great one to end off on, with the duo sharing a fun time!

Dice: Er... *SPOILERS* (Can't really avoid this one) I've never played D&D before, but whenever I hear about it I'm just like? I want to play? This was such a cute oneshot to read, and by the end of it I had a huge smile on my face. I love the "Ratchet and Clank play board games with each other" over the video games one since I like the thought of them facing each other while they play? So this one was the perfect one that hit the "Daw" button!
Direct: Hehehe, Ratchet, stop it. Clank wants to head home, let the poor bot go home and read a book.
Purring: *SPOILERS CAUSE I CAN'T REALLY AVOID IT* I swear, I think this is one of my favorite Ratchet heandcanons, and no matter how many times people do it, I'm never tired of it! Ratchet acting like a cat and purring is wholesome, and I couldn't help but go "DAWWW" at this one too! This might be my fav out of this batch...
Cockroach: *shudders* Uhhhh... I can take spiders over cockroaches any day of any planetary year. I'd be moving out of that house as soon as possible, and I wish Ratchet luck in his crusade.
Summon: I feel like I would relate to how Clank felt, but truth be told... I think I'd relate more to Ratchet, since that's probably how I act. Oh Clank, I wish you luck with dealing with it...
Anger: OH CRAP! MY GOD! You nailed this one! It's a wonderfully done scene, and oh my god, that sacrifice Clank made! Ok, this is my fav out of this batch, wow!
Tree: This one's super short and I don't have that much to say on it, but I did laugh out loud, and I have the biggest smile on my face!
Propel: Aw, this was some angst to end on, but it was nice angst. It does a good job of showing how special Clank is to Ratchet, and I hope they get what they want soon...

You know, I've commented on your drawings, but I've never really reviewed your written works? I know I commented on "Daydreamer," but I've never reviewed this, and that makes me quite sad. So, to remedy that, I think I'd like to try and review some of the chapters from this story (although I can only review one chapter right now since it's almost 11 at night and I got to go to sleep soon). I think I'll model it after how I review other oneshot collections, that way I can kind of keep things in a regular format. :3

Alright, enough about me, onto the little oneshots!

Stew: This... this is an absolutely perfect opener for the collection. Not only is it extremely sweet and something that made me say, "Daw," out loud, but it captures a pretty strong image of the relationship between Ratchet and Clank. I know you wrote this chapter years ago, but seriously, I don't think you could have started this any other way. (I mean, probably, but Stew is a very good opener that really sets the tone for the collection and it's wonderful)
Study: Oof, that was me with Spanish. I can definitely relate to Ratchet there, and hopefully Clank can help the poor Lombax out with his goal.
Bitter: Again, Ratchet is so dang relatable in that one. And HECK YEAH I'd be ordering the same thing he'd order! Oh man, this is another one that really captures the relationship Ratchet and Clank have...
Allow: Oh crap, the feels have hit me and they have shown me no mercy! Oof, this one's my favorite out of this batch. This one was written so well, and I love the amount of emotion you portrayed in Ratchet. This one's a special one...
Deep: Ooooo, oooo, that's gotta hurt! D: Listen to Clank, Ratchet, the little robot boi has some valuable advice that you might want to heed. 'Specially if it's something that bad.
Fish: Aw, I love seeing a little Slice of Life oneshot that has them doing something nice together. Just something to take a... well, rest (wouldn't want to jinx anything for them).
Attack: And... god, this was another fantastic one. This was a perfect one to end on, and I quite like how you both opened and ended this first chapter. Both of the shots pretty much capture the friendship of Ratchet and Clank at its best, and with them starting and ending the first chapter, I can see why everyone likes this so much and I'm double kicking myself for missing out on them for so long. A wonderful start to this series, and I can't wait to read up on what I've been missing for so long!

But first... uh, I need to get some sleep. I think I'll hold off on prompts for a while, since a whole lot of people have requested shots before me and I would hate to add onto the work you already have to do.
