This and the preceeding story, Burnt Cookies, are two of the best AU NALU fics I've read. You captured the interactions between all of the Fairy Tail gang perfectly-romance, humor, and all! I can't count the number of times I laughed out loud at the dialogue, not just between Lucy and Natsu, but especially between Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Laxus. Despite being a AU fic, you managed to keep everyone perfectly in character and I loved every minute of it! Thank you for sharing it with us!

So, I’m writing this review for both Burnt Cookies and Scorched Wedding Cakes at once.
What can I say except wow?! This story was the perfect blend of character development, perfect pairings, and very little drama. Never have I read a story that explores such a depth of character while being as in character as possible.
I enjoyed reading every word of both of these stories and I’ll do so again in the future.
Reading this made me reevaluate how I write and where I can improve.
Every pairing fit perfectly, and the nature of their relationships was fitting in every instance.
Erza taking her role as surrogate mother to the next step by adopting was the perfect developmental choice.
Minerva’s ordeal with her father and how it helped her grow was a satisfying way to give her redemption.
The way you wrote Levy and Gajeel’s life with twins was extremely insightful and helped me appreciate my sister-in-law and briber’s efforts in raising their twin girls.
This whole story perfectly encompasses all of the great things about life and it succeeded in creating a good image of what love should be and how compromise and sacrifice can be beneficial for long-term relationships.

What a ride. I’d truly like to thank you for writing both burnt cookies and scorched wedding cakes. I’ve spent the last while reading in it my spare time and I don’t regret a minute. Your writing and the characters have been wonderful every step of the way. It’s all very fluid and well thought.

The closer I got to the end the more I started dreading it actually being over. Most stories I end up dropping because the more you read the more out of sync the characters become. Not here though. Each and every one of them was great from start to finish and it was great to see them overcome some of their own emotional problems.

A great part was that you never used misunderstandings to create drama and long lasting angst. Sure, sometimes the characters were unsure of themselves or their significant other but it was always resolved within the POV. The lemons tend not to be my thing but from the few I read or skimmed they all seemed tasteful and to the point, capturing the characters personalities inside.

What’s best is that you can almost feel like you’re there with the characters. Fairy tail has some of the most wacky and loveable characters there are. Being with them as they try to adult and enjoy their lives is a joy. The scene when they're all together at the beach house just enjoying each others company and playing rumolli are my personal favourites.

As i said I’m just incredibly in awe and thankful for your writing. It’s been wonderful to read and I’m sad that it’s actually over. Finding something to follow it up with is going to be tough. Do you have anything upcoming? I read your bio quickly and wasn’t sure exactly what it meant. I wouldn’t worry about what you’ve already written. It’s all perfect as is. I do hope you decide to continue writing. I’ll setup the follow author to make sure I don’t miss it.

Beautiful ending!

That was a beautiful ending. There are so many babies, holy hell. Though I can see all of them wanting big families. I do like the way you did Erza and Jellal's ending. It just seems more real with the girls going back to their father. My aunt does foster care and a few did go back to their families at some point. I could see them opening their home to all sorts of kids. Erza's pregnancy would be extreme, just like the rest of her. She would probably have her hospital bag packed the day she found out she was pregnant. Cana in this story is my spirit animal. Totally agree with the whole "why have babies when everyone else is having them". Also I am horrible at adulting and am almost 30, so ya I feel ya Cana.
