Well, this one hurt especially badly. Angelina shows a lot of patience and understanding here. It would take an especially strong person to help George through such a difficult time-especially when that help means stepping back and letting him go it alone. Freddie is sweet and serious. I love how he's a bit confused about how owls work. This is all just very bittersweet.

Oh WOW this was breathtaking... I mean, literally, it took my breath away. The ending especially had me a little choked up! I really like the way you wrote Fred. I can definitely imagine him as a funny troublemaker with a caring/introspective side as well, and I like that we got to see that here. The letter was just an amazing touch. And that last line... *shivers* Incredible writing! I hope you most more one-shots like this!

I don't know if it's because I was already having a difficult day, but this really got me. Loss is a peculiar thing and it definitely has a way of hitting you when you least expect it :'( Fred's letter was precious.

Oh my goodness, this was so hard to read. I definitely had a lump in my throat throughout the story, especially when Angelina was describing their May 2nd routine, but that letter really just sent me over the edge. And Angelina's reaction...and the last part about Fate and Life. God, this is just so heartbreaking :'( Beautiful writing!

Okay, I seriously had tears in my eyes when reading this. It was just... heartbreaking. When reading this, I have to agree with Angelina, about Fate being a spiteful monster and Life an inconsiderate witch. That letter... Just, heartbreaking. I have difficulty describing how I'm feeling right now, but this was a beautiful piece. Simple, but you showed so much in so few words. Masterfully done.
