Well I have been meaning to review this chapter since you released it and I am just now getting around to it. I am seriously in love with how you are portraying Jav and Ginger, you aren't moving things along with them too fast, your pace is steady and you aren't in a rush to make things happen. I can appreciate that kind of restraint because when you have a ship it's sometimes hard to keep it under control. I never get tired of Ginger and Johnny's little sibling rivalry, it's so entertaining to read. It's the comic relief of this story. I also really love the air of mystery that clearly shrouds this fic, there are clearly things that are going to develop later on and I anticipate how you are going to proceed with it. Seriously, keep up the good work. I stalk my email to see if you have updated and whenever you do I feel so excited! So keep it moving, my friend, you are doing a wonderful job!

It's good to see that Jav knows he was the reason he ruined the party for Ginger. Accepting what the problem is is the best way to fix it. And that dream was definitely odd and I really don't know how to go about it at the moment, but I can't wait to see how you handle it. Ginger is such a wonderfully original and funny character. God, Jav is just so creepy, but yet so smooth in such a weird way. And I think it's super sweet that Johnny cares so much about Ginger's birthday. What a sweet brother. Honestly, I'm kind of the same way about my birthday, don't really want people making a huge deal about it so. Leave it to mothers to always impart their wisdom onto us children. Moms are amazing, and I imagine their mom as being like, sickeningly sweet for some reason. To balance out their father's... scariness. I suppose is the correct way to say it. Ahhh, Jav why are you so creepy? That beetle seriously freaks me out sometimes, not gonna lie. He's just so odd, plus I hate bugs so there's that. I actually have a friend named Abby, but she isn't really the quiet type, she will get up in people's faces. She can actually be pretty scary, though when I first met her she was rather reserved. High school really brought her out of her shell, but it does that for most people, somewhat, I imagine it will do that for our little Ginger here. Man, if Reed and Ginger were friends in high school Reed would've probably decked Jav for calling Ginger 'kitten'. Just saying. Also, that hallway thing is weird. At my school there was no special hallway, people would just suck face in the middle of any hallway and it was... disturbing. Anyway, I look forward to your next update! So into this story, I can't.

OMG! I loved this chapter so much! The Spanish banter between Jav and Johnny was totally perfect! I loved it so much. (Watching an interview with Nathan Fillion (Johnny's voice) he spoke Spanish so I had this headcannon that maybe Johnny was latino, but never actually wrote it.) You portray their personalities so perfectly, you're making me love Jav even more! Also, that moment Johnny was looking up at the stars made me squeak because it was like he knew he was going to one day meet Reed and that made me have butterflies in my stomach! Such a sweet moment because not even the great Johnny Worthington is immune to having those feelings. I have kind of dropped off myself, but I will hopefully be caught up soon! Oh my God, please update soon, I love this so, so much, it's awesome!

Hello, sorry this review is kind of late. I have not lost interest in this story whatsoever, I've just been busy. So Jav and little Ginger finally meet, this should definitely be fun, but it seems she isn't one for gross flirting, which I can understand. Also, I wonder who the monsters that lie "beyond the shadows" are because I have a feeling that they might make an appearance, but have zero clue who they could be. You take your time with the next chapter. I shall stalk my email until I see that you have updated because I can't wait to see where you take this story! All the love and support to you, my friend!

Okay, so I tried to review last night, but fanfiction was being stupid and wouldn't post it. So yeah, this chapter definitely had me giggling, especially with Ginger's little inner monologue. So funny, I mean, that is about the degree I think about things. And freaking Johnny, so damn smart, he must have eyes in the back of his head and that's why his collar is always popped. It's kind of cool reading this fic about him in high school when I'm writing about his post-college graduation life. It's neat seeing it from the two sides, but one thing will always be certain, whether he is nineteen or thirty-three, Johnny will always be the smug bastard that we all know and love-ish. Anyway, you keep writing you amazing writer you and I will see you in the next chapter where I assume Ginger is going to get to witness her first ever party.

Okay, here I go with my first review of this. First off I love that you have borrowed Reed and Johnny's "Freshman", "Senior" nicknames, it made me giggle so hardcore. Ginger and Johnny have the best sibling relationship, it makes me wish I had an older brother I could give sh!t to like that. (I do have two older brothers but one is 33 and the other is almost 43 so.) I also love her middle name "Ale" that's such a cute play on words. Also, I was just giggling like a little idiot reading this whole chapter so I am super excited for the future ones. Your writing style is so well paced and nice, not overly descriptive and the dialogue is so realistic and funny. And you pretty much nailed what it's like being a high school freshman on the head. It kind of freaking sucks. So anyway, I look forward to more my friend, I really do! Let's just see what kind of hell little Ginger and Johnny can put each other through.
