Chapter review:
Overall this chapter is a recap for noire for what has happened in all the fanfic, from the mercs arrival, to some of the situations with Uni, Nissa and Gray Mann, she has learned what has happened and even did some investigation on her own, reaching quite accurate scenarios of what happened with both the mercs and Gray Mann robots.
Finally what i was expecting started to happen, the admin faction finally did its move, the robots of Gray Mann were tricked (or hacked? if that's the case i imagine them with purple eyes instead of the usual blue) into invading planeptune, getting into the mind of miss P. she is probably trying to ignite a war between nations and the godesses as a way to dispose them, while getting rid of the mercs in the process due their betrayal, it wont surprise me if Lastation cant warn histoire about what is going on and its taken as a war declaration, however things had changed, i wonder what will happen next, i guess the mercs, cpu's and makers will fend off the massive robot attack while something happens in the back (based on the tittle of this chapter, a spy of the admin will be involved) all while samantha and the CFW crew is on Miss P. tracks... everything is about to go to hell.
guess that we'll get the symbolic end, with all ending the same way it started, the mercs figthing against bots (just like in the actual casual mode!) but maybe with new... friends? backing them up, i really want to see a much larger combat sequence like the one in the beggining but this time with the neptunia girls joining the frail, i really cant wait to see how you develop this!

Chapter review
I expected the mercs jumping in at the right moment to stop hilda, in fact when the pain that stopped Hilda dead on her tracks began, i thought it was a surprise attack from demoman making a "Spy" and backstabbing her with the eyelander (similarly to what compa tried to do) not the fury of a goddess, which got me off guard, but i also forgot that falcom also had the same seal that Sam so you got me there.
Samantha and CFW magic on the hunt for Miss Pauling and it seems they are closing in her (also random pervert moment).
the simpliest of the reasons of why the mercs where absent in the past chapter... a broken teleporter, HA! you got me good there that didnt came to my mind at all lol.
Also medic trascending time and reality? YOU GAVE MEDIC THAT POWER?! YOU MONSTER!
-But whyyyyyyy?! (ok, no more references to "heavy is dead" from me)
anyway, medic simply appearing to steal demoman's drink? and soldier being able to tell, yep it doesnt matter if it is a gmod animation or a fanfic, the mercs are as crazy as ever, but i wonder if that is going to have some repercutions in the final battle, like medic becoming a demi-god or something and finishing off hilda or something (obviously that is a joke... NO, DONT TAKE NOTES!)
(Ah shit, going back to my philosophy classes) so my guess was somewhat accurate, somewhat, gehaburn didnt necessarily stole her soul, but her mind, also merasmus helping... that was something i didnt expect to see... with all we know, the main objective has now been stablished, gehaburn must sink- ejem, die if they want to bring nepgear back.
I forgot that hatty existed lol this scene managed to be funny and sad at the same time, i love how you implement hatty in such funny manner that it somewhat does make sense (at least for tf2 standards) i cant wait to see where the hatty sub-arc leads to.
It has been a long while since another maker (that wasnt the ones we already saw) appeared, sadly it was for just one scene, goodbye puchinko we'll miss you! Being serious now, i forgot about planeptune's mascot as well, i had assumed that it was already on their possesion and lastation was the last one missing, also i wonder what histoire will share with the mercs...
and neptune is going to die isnt she? you are going to kill her arent you? due the massive death flag raising it wouldnt surprise me if you do, it could also be the classic neptunia teasing to make us think that something like that is going to happen but at the end it doesnt, but i dont know... it feels odd, like the conquest ending.
I wonder what was exactly hilda trying to stop, a massive amount of kill-a-chines? or it is a new threat that will take the final chapters to deal with?, this is why i mentioned kancolle (or azur lane) in my initial thoughts, because that war machines without a proper description, sound like the abyssals (or sirens) i wonder what will you do, and what threat they will supose to our... mercs and CPU's (and the administrator) and the whole gamindustri.
This chapter, with all the intermissions that were like messages from a unknown source and the binary tittle... it makes me feel anxious to see what is going to happen next, there's a lot going on! thumbs up!

Thus the crew sans Medic are gathered again. Least the reason was reasonable. Haha.

War of Machones huh? The Grey are back at it?

So Nepgear is well and truly dead (at least, that's what I assume happened, I don't actually know how Gehaburn works).
Not even an uber could save her. First Neptune had to find out that Histoire hired 9 godsdamned mercenaries to win the war on ASIC, now she watched Hilda take Nepgear away from her like this? Hmm, makes me wonder how the bubbly girl will cope with that. As far as I know, no one here has ever experienced the loss of family, but could they still help her?

Now, I wonder how this will affect Medic. I know he is a family man, so maybe he can empathize helping someone deal with family issues? Or maybe he will be pissed that this one incident might ruin his career as THE Medic, then what would he do? Would he get The Devil himself involved and try to rescue Nepgear's soul from Gehaburn (again, just assuming how it works) and save his reputation? If he does, what will it cost? One human soul can't possibly be enough to make that deal fair in the Devil's eyes. I wonder what Medic will do...

And oh dear god, Machias, 5pb, and Histoire are all dead too- oh wait no, Histoire lived. I wonder if 5pb and Machias got out of that with a Dead Ringer though, if that pocket watch could help at all. Man, I wonder how Vert's gonna take that news? Or Samantha?

Also, Eyelander is a match for Gehaburn? I knew that sword was cursed too, but to think the spirit within it can rival a godslaying weapon... Now that I think about it, they are really REALLY similar! I'm thinking that Gehaburn is still much more powerful than Eyelander considering how Hilda's possessed Falcom forever, but IIRC the reason why Eyelander can't do the same to Demoman is because he's...always...drunk... woah, what if alchohol's the solution to the problem here? That fight was truly exciting, Orange!

As for the poll, I think I'll take the RWBY and Terraria one. Reasons being I have zero knowledge of XCOM and Fire Emblem, and I also like seeing people take on OP characters and anticipating who beats who.

And I might have had an idea For you as a future project maybe How to fight it with RWBY X Titanfall Because I like RWBY as anime Very and Titanfall I got a gift from my friend last 2 weeks and I like the game Very.

Another project may think we're fighting Hyperdimension Neptunia X Final Fantasy Most The 7th Part with Cloud and Sephiroth I like both their Limit Break'S Omnislash and Supernova.

The chapter in itself is a real good one. Capturing that ya the story's final arc is commencing, especially after showcasing characters being thrown in harm's way. The surprises and twists were interesting and well-executed. So I hope this train reaches a satisfying destination and have faith that you will.

The pictures you commissioned were good as it portrayed Samantha in all her glory and also gave justice to IF's face-off against Hilda.

Moving on to your next project, my vote is for the RWBY fanfiction. Especially if its anything like Good Old Hoxton's work. The guy has his own RWBY fanfics going for him so you should check them out since they are fun. Regarding Madness combat, allow me to show you the best fanfic I have found in that area:

Such ending... as expected, things went straight up to hell real fast, but i wonder... yeah no, i dont think you are going to kill off nepgear... YET, she give me vibes that she can still be brought back.

Art review: it really gives off that feeling of a last stand that IF was doing, she knew that gehaburn is going to send her with the Mann brothers if she decided to fight, yet she still stands on her way, the scene from the artwork and the whole battle fits well with ruby illusions from Sonic Mania, about the samantha one... i confused the doll on her arm with Rom lol, but it was quite cute.

Chapter review: straight up hell, Hilda directly mauled almost everything that stood on her path (that poor receptionist was just doing her job y'know? she wasnt even trying to stop you, you muffin!) about the poor attempts of defense... yeah pretty much nothing was able to stop that ghost, falcom only stood a chance when she faught her because she had the aid of eyelander, so yeah pretty much normal means aint going to stop that ghost, pretty much besides the ones proven to atleast be able to touch her in this chapter, maybe merasmus could also fight against her and have genuine chances to win, but that wizard is... well... that wizard, i'll believe that gehaburn could find a way to kill him for real before merasmus even manages to harm her.
The fight with IF, despite the obvious power diference between the two, im surprised that IF managed to last a little without the flame awakening transformation, but, something that caught my eye, falcom maybe actually reacted to IF's voice or at least to the eyelander, this was evident on the demo vs hilda segment, where her arm "shaked" and that was able to give demo a chance to damage her, maybe that was falcom resisting against her control? so maybe if they inquire enough, falcom might be able take over again even if for a few seconds
Also yeah, bringing flashbacks of camping demomans with that starting attack, outside that, the battle with demoman was quite surprising but i feel like demo could've done a little better there, like using a little more the grenades and stickies, also: HA! called it!, the eyelander is the only thing capable of actually hurting hilda (it is even calling it when my comment was what inspired that fight segment?)
Also i find quite ironic that hilda is spatting how the CPU's have caused and will keep causing death and pain and about the circle repeating, when outside the mercs, CFW's and maybe samantha, she's one who has caused the most deaths on this fanfic even of innocent people (5pb and the workers of the basilicom solely died because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time), while the CPU's havent killed someone on this fic (and the one ordering deaths was histoire due no better alternative), not even the CFW's deaths since that was done by the people of the team fortress universe, the eyelander fighting her arguements was also funny due that the only answer eyelander got from rebating her arguements was "i dont care get out of my fucking way"
something that i loved what that IF actually got Hilda off guard with her new transformation, sadly she couldnt take advantage of it and... by how you put it... with IF and demo's skills (eyelander's specifically)... wouldnt demo and IF could be able to turn Hilda into a improvised piñata (even if it is for a few seconds)? IF helds Gehaburn while she's in her black fire form to dodge something, she cant escape since IF is controlling the flames that are her body then demo lashes out against the spirit with the eyelander? it would be a quite funny posibility, if IF caught in what she did on the fight.
What i kind of was expecting and at the same time dont (at least not yet) was that histoire fighted herself, in the games if im not wrong, she was quite the busted party member once you unlocked her (wish that they used that when she got kidnapped in the game), i kind of expected her fighting just in extreme circumstances and surprising everyone being able to be able to fend off enemies by herself or showing off in the final battle or something, here, i actually expected her to escape via teleporter with Machias and 5pb, still they died as they lived: being secondary characters on this history (lol) shame that histoire couldnt threaten more Gehaburn with her powers (that are on pair with a goddess) and died along with everyone else (Rip another maker)
And here comes what was one of the moments that i kind of expected from you since you want a really crude ending, nepgear is dead AGAIN... well more like vegetable ("Nepgear is whole again, then it broke again" that resumes nepgear in this fic), but this time... for real? (nah she's coming back, i can feel it) while i kind of understand what gehaburn can do to the cpu's... nepgear is technically still alive, isnt she? i mean she's only is in a vegetable state but it seems that compa managed to keep her alive despite being stabbed, so... gehaburn stole her soul? or she did die, compa somehow managed to bring her back but she lacks her soul?, so thats why she is a vegetable? since re;spawn isnt able to bring her back normally i guess that's what happened?
Also besides demo, where were the other mercs?, according to him they were scattered and needed time to gear up and re-group to join the frail, outside soldier that medic left him out of commission and medic for being high as fuck doing... something, what about the rest? while maybe heavy, pyro and sniper could still be on lowee, at least scout, engineer and spy could aid even if it was just on stalling.
there are a lot of questions that i have, but there's also the time-skip between nepgear being stabbed and when histoire revived, so maybe they arrived in that moment? since i dont think hilda will flee while having neptune, nepgear and Compa at killing range (since her objective was killing both CPU's and apparently neptune came out unscratched or at least... still alive) nor while compa could keep nepgear hanging to life with the medi-gun, so i guess it will be covered later?

As for the chapter, really good, the battle segments help to paint how strong truly hilda is and stablish her as the huge menace she is, but also foreshadowing possible weaknesses that the mercs could abuse against her when the innevitable fight happens (this was just hilda steamrolling planeptune's goverment), there are some problems that i found, but overall pretty good, i cant wait to see how things will come up after this (downhill probably) thumbs up!

Thought all the Mercs were faraway doing stuff. Didn't think any were really close to home, though seems like only Demo was the one around.

Been awhile so I actually forgot which Nep characters are apart of the respawning system too.

Surprised the Hilda person is gone though, doesn't feel like they finished whatever they came around for... though with what happened to Nepgear...

Art review: pretty much how i imaginated nepgear with the description you did about her HDD, except that the pink (or lavander?) color of her hair slowly vanished into red instead of being direct red tips there, at the rest... yeah pretty much the same nepgear we all know and love.

Chapter review: a really fun chapter... and quite bizarre to be honest, soldier in this chapter was the equivalent to the naked soldier covered in honey, just that this soldier was high as fuck, something that Rick May did well, was give a lot of life to his characters he voiced, soldier will always carry on his spirit with his crazed personality.
Also yeah, no, Medic is about to do something really stupid or be the saviour of the team against Hilda gehaburn, the madman was already REALLY insane on his own, now you make him high as fuck? that's a huge danger sign for either everyone around him, or for hilda, and i cant tell if that is a good thing.
Also, now that i think about it, the eyelander hasnt been with falcom since the interlude (and lets be honest, the number of lines of Eyelander are close to zero since then), eyelander must know already what is going on with her and migth be the saving grace for the mercs in this fight if it can do something against the other spirit (also, finally, Hilda vs the mercs, i was waiting for something like this to happen since the falcom vs hilda battle (i also wanted to see a magic or brave vs mercs battle, but since they are allies now...))
Besides that, it connects to what happened with mina on the Girls talk chapter and what happened after histoire got to meet with 5PB and machias, which is basically describe who sam is and the inminent threat of gehaburn, by the looks of it, Demoman, Eyelander and Nepgear might play a important role in this battle (if Nepgear participates at all).
Other than that, a really great chapter! i cant wait to see the inminent fight between the mercs and hilda, thumbs up!

I love the humourous and unpredictable nature of the mercs. The very factor you have included things like that is a testament to your mastery of writing a TF2 fic.

Also the end there is a nice set up for the bumpy ride you have in store for us, will look forward to it.

I have been starving for a good TF 2 read for a while, since I pracitcally used up my emergency supply of amazing SFM youtube vids( aside from the enjoyable, meming ones) that actualy have good stories to tell with or without the chaos, along with an attack on titan cross over fic and the cancelled RWBY crossover fic.

When eventualy your amazing fic ends. I am gonna try analysing as much as I can from yours and the previously mentioned one, to dip my toes in a TF 2 x Warhammer fic. Even though I lack most of the skill and experince you writers have, I will do my best to give both of these fandoms the respect they deserve.

Art Review: Another fine piece of art this time from falcom, the first one is really nice, falcom looks adorable there despite knowing that she is fused with a murderous spirit and the second one pulls out that murderous feel, also damn that Angela's blood, what a way to show off that new revelation of her death, though the art style deviates from the one of samantha (which now that i look at her design and thanks to the hint i finally found the similarities) Now lets go back to the chapter review (also since we didnt know how Angela looked like, i imaginated her as basically shouta from Kobayashi san chi no maid dragon, just that female and with mage robes (and the most generic wizard hat you could imagine)

Chapter review:
We began with dead people, merasmus getting a final warning if he does feel like going into a rampage in lowee again, and IF getting her SEHA costume, to be honest i did expect that change to her appearance when the flame awakening skill was revealed, i was just waiting for when it was going to happen, also HA! i knew pyro was praying due that new form, though its weird for it to worship IF as a goddess of fire... wonder if Pyro would generate some shares towards her due to how faith works in neptunia? lol
Also quick guess because i have been quite disconnected from the TF2 community for a while: the offerings Pyro was burning are a ballonicorn plushie, some hats, and maybe a lolichop (i couldnt think on anything else)
I really love your capability of portraying the merc's madness, that conversation of the imaginary god and devil conversation was something medic would do for sure and was really funny, seriously, i cant stress enough how i love the way you portray them (also... really? bathing the corpse in doggo goo? at least medic could have injected it into the corpse!) also yeah... compa is a lost cause up to this point, she might as well become the succesor of the medic for the red team, she got way too used to the respawn and medic's madness... or the merc's madness in general.
Im gonna talk about the neptune's part now because... well it makes more sense for me to put that two parts together in this review.
With neptune coming back and announcing herself to her citizens Planeptune's shares should stabilize now, yet i found quite curious about her almost collapsing in the middle of the ceremony, which connects with what happened several chapters ago in lowee, where she almost fell into a clumsy and painful death (or at least to pierce through the floor again, like almost every main game) but does make sense, despite that Samantha does irradiate shares of the true goddess, i didnt expect those to last that long, and after the lowee fight it was expected to them to burn quickly, but also the enchacements made to nepgear, this chapter showed how little she is suceptible to share depravation unless it reaches historical minimums again like in the memorial, right now if the admin plans to conquer gamindustri are something about draining the CPU's from their shares, or something, nepgear might be the only one capable of endure something like that and be able to fight back, as right now the biggest threats on this history are the admin crew and Gehaburn, since it seems the CFWs changed side... for now at least.
And... Angela is dead... not big souprice.
Kinda expected you to pull that one off at one point in the history (similar of how i expect you to either murder another maker (cough cough 5PB cough cough) or Machias at some point), but i didnt expect her to die THIS soon i think something else could have been done with her character and her combat abilities, if she was able to push a possesed Falcom with the Eyelander into a corner, she might as well give trouble to other characters if she engaged them... oh well, at least she got an honorobale death and got to rest in peace i guess...
however i do understand the reason of why Hilda did murder her, and her motivations are more or less quite clear now, she is not exactly that murderous and still does have some kindness inside her corrupted soul, she does want to avoid the creation of another kindred spirit like her or the eyelander, she saw that as the only way to free someone who was really misserable and her only last purpouse on life was to carry revenge towards the ones she is already trying to bring "justice" upon... not that it justifies her actions but still, it makes it quite easier to sympatise with her.
Time to point out the plot hole in your attempt to bury a plot hole!
Well... after lowee, you never made clear if the mercs got to know or not what the CFWs and ASIC were doing, you directly jumped into the leanbox arc after the Harmless orange probably killed merasmus and we didnt got to see the merc side of the events until now, as far as we could know only Samantha and Falcom were the only ones who knew about their change of heart, what they are searching for, and their drop of hostility towards the CPU's, because hell, leanbox really wants their heads in a plate as far as we know and Histoire has no human or goddess way (at least yet) to know that ASIC dropped their anti-cpu operations, and the Leanbox raid probably didnt help.
Other than that, i really missed the mercs, dont get me wrong, the Leanbox chapters were lit and the developement there was fabulous, also we got several questions answered, but the comedy and the madness of the mercs side is probably my favorite part of this fanfic, other than that, this chapter was really good, i cant wait to see how this keeps going on! thumbs up!

So no way for Falcom to come back? Then why did Angelica (sorry if i misspelled) say there were some parts of Falcom left? Can Merasmus dabble in some eldrich crap to save her? Can medic seperate the souls or something (one TF comic did say he stiched his teammates souls to his so he wouldn't go to hell, cant remember which comic though)? Or is it impossible to bring Falcom back? I (dont need sleep, I need) answers!

Art review (yes i decided to do that first instead of the chapter, mostly because i might forget to do so later lol)
Well... samantha looks quite... unique in a certain sense, she does remind me of someone, but i cant put my finger on who exactly she reminds me of (for some reason she also remind me about Isaac Clarke from dead space on the advanced suit... no i dont know why neither, i guess from the colors and maybe the shape of the hair?), but she has that "Tomboy" feeling, not quite as how imaginated her as a woman neither of how i imaginated her normal or male form (i just outrigth imaginated her as the civilian from TFC in her first physical appareance lol), also, firecracker looks a lot like the ubersaw lol.
As a bonus: i really imaginate machias like he's wearing the tuxedo special suit of Re4 (complete with the white scarf), just that he is older than Leon (at least in that game)
Now back to the scheduled review (also yes, i took my time on my previous one, the past week was quite busy for me lol)

Chapter review:

First of all, i guess that dolls are a sort of reference to fairy fencer, damn i gotta play those games, heard they are really good, second more wholesome moments between Samantha and Fay, Third: HOLY CRAP with that dead histoire... well, unborn more likely lol.
Ah fantastic, the raid on the Leanbox HQ was pointless, because samantha overlooked one little small detail, also i love that Brave is still true to his character, he was kind of forced to do that genocide for the sake of gamindustri, despite the objective, he did not enjoyed and probably wanted to prevent doing that again (even if he sort of ended up doing it again at the end of this chapter, just in a microscopic scale).
The moment Samantha attacked the ASIC grunt i truly expected him to be the RED spy, at least it could have made things kind of easier to explain to one of the mercs about their plan, more if it was spy, since he could have understood the situation, and if he distrusted them, at least lend the letter to histoire.
This was also something that bugged me, it is true that the admin (or miss pauling) could have re-taken control of the mercs by force if so, but i guess that the alien world was a more higher priority than getting those morons back, more since they have TWO governements backing them (Lowee and Planeptune) which also make me wonder, how loyal they truly are? by the looks of it and since they shared their technology and even spy burnt their previous contracts when Nisa handed them, makes me think that they have a plan to stay in gamindustri for the time being, due the better working conditions at least, but still, knowing you, i know there's something going up about that.
More wholesome mo- oh. Well i didnt expect that, guess that even fairies have their sex drive reaching their limits from time to time lol.
Also jeez, i expected the backstory of Samantha and Fay to be sad, but that's just... damn (also probably more references to fairy fencer) now i get what you mean about the prequel.
The moment Samantha attacked Falcom got me off guard, i did not see that one coming, but, it seems that Falcom is still fighting against Gehaburn, she managed to protect Samantha by stopping herself from stabbing her throat, she even refused to fight back despite the attempts of murder against her, and even so, using Hilda's skills to a certain extend to escape.
But still, a confused, scared possesed woman who seems to have lost it all (more so due the talk with Samantha were she MIGHT share her fate if she dies before Magnavox breaks the seal) on the loose seems quite dangerous, more since Hilda might have heard about Samantha's plans, so she also might be planning to get Magnavox (or other gods) after she's done with the CPU's due her believes about the goddesses, damn this is getting intense...
But i think that maybe Falcom has one saving grace where she might get into the afterlife like Cave (rip cave btw) the longer she manages to stay alive, but also the thing is, it goes to who slains Gehaburn first, while Cave died period, due no one being able to save her, i think if the mercs and CPU's are the ones who slay Gehaburn definitely, they might have a chance to bring back Falcom (now if they take it is up to them though), it goes to if she separates from her body (and by extension, her soul) to fight the mercs and CPU's by herself (like she did with Falcom the first time) when the vessel (falcom's body) is killed or destroyed, why i think this? is about the chapter were engineer was revived by Compa, it was shown that the technique that medic taught her involved evil spirits, Engineer was possesed by an evil spirit the moment he came back, and had to be killed and revived again in order to be revived by himself, so i think that might be possible way out for Falcom (after all, the mercs dont care about "souls" or "death" not even when the re;spawn sistem is out of the equation lol) the only thing throwing me back on that is that, i think Sam sealed Gehaburn's soul within Falcom's so if that happens... yeah Rip Falcom.
Things are getting intense, but i think this was also the final chapter for Leanbox's arc isnt it? i wonder what have you planned for the next one and what will involve... probably Miss Pauling's plan rolling into action, the resolution and closing chapters of this fic are going to be intense, i can feel it. thumbs up!
