I have binge-read your fanfic and I have to say that this is one of the best reads I've come across in a very long time~

No gramattical errors. Adequate chapter length, superb excution of the plot and lore in a very fresh aspect than what we pokéfans are used to yet not straying away from the main events, and I just simply fell in love with your attention to detail; from the biggest spots to the tiniest dots.

I can tell you how much I am on edge waiting for the next chapter. I wish you all the best!

Whats happening?

I hope Courtney actually beats Brendan in battle. She's already said she wants to battle him at some point and he has not yet been defeated in this story. You need to have him lose sometimes otherwise he'll come across as a Gary Stu. Don't make him too perfect. So far, he's overcome everything on his first attempt, aside from getting Courtney's name. Apart from Courtney, other people who could potentially defeat him are Steven, Maxie, Archie, Shelly and the remaining gym leaders, especially Norman and Wallace/Juan. I assume that Wallace is the final gym leader but will Juan have an appearance too?

Also, Brendan said he met May only a week ago. You should change that to two or three weeks, if not a whole month because winning three badges in a week, while perfectly possible if you're playing the games, doesn't really make much sense if you want the passing of time in the Pokémon world to seem realistic. The Hoenn region isn't exactly small, you know.

Anyway, criticisms aside, I liked Courtney and Brendan's interaction in this chapter. "As will I", considering what Brendan said just before Courtney thought it, is a pretty flirty choice of words, although Brendan didn't know she was thinking them. Knowing Courtney's analytical thought processes, she most likely meant she would come out on top in battle. She's made it very clear that she's interested in Brendan but how experienced is she with relationships? Courtney's the kind of girl who keeps to herself a lot, so although she's skilled at flirting, I'd wouldn't be surprised if she's still a virgin and has very little actual experience with this sort of thing.

Well well well, lookie who I stumbled across again :P I've been busy reading your stuff over on Wattpad and then I find you again over here? Small world I guess haha. I really do have to say, I love the work you put out, but this story especially so. Never was that big a fan of Courtney prior to starting this story. But you managed to find a way to take a character I really didn't give much of a second thought beyond just being a token admin into someone who's quirky, engaging and someone who actually appeals to me as a character now. So keep up the quality work mate, I want to see more from you :)

Good but the referee said it's a two on two matchup, not three on three. My favourite scenes in this story are Courtney's scenes.

Does the PC system work in this story or will Brendan send his Pokémon to his dad if he has more than six? Or are you only going to let him have six pokemon? I hope he has more. The Unova anime had its flaws, especially since Ash was weaker than he was in all the previous regions apart from during his first journey through Kanto (he was very strong when he travelled through Kanto again to challenge the Battle Frontier but that was much later) but at least he had a wider variety of pokemon in Unova because he didn't limit himself to just six.

Very enjoyable! Love the character building and it's all going at a great pace with good interactions between the characters. The growing interest is cute and am definitely looking forward for the next chapter to come!

Oh sure, Courtney is all excited to meet Brendan now, but she'll have to be careful when she talks to him. If she lets on too much, she'll come off as creepy. She's gonna have no idea what to do!
