This was difficult to read, but it was really lovely to see how Rick brought Michonne back. The 'date' they went on was everything! The whole southern white man thing was hilarious. Race isn't a topic that comes through in a lot of Richonne fan fiction, but how you touched on it her was really cute and light.
Now Tom...I doubt Rick would've let him off that easy. Murder coat would've been resurrected for sure imo.

I like that you had Daryl there for and to help Rick and that you referenced what happened to Glenn and Maggie at Woodbury,. Rick learned from them how to better handle what happened in the best way for Michonne and not him. That's why I am glad you had Rick let Michonne handle Tom instead of him doing it. Continue writing! You're gifted!

Entre 1671 et 1679, une chapelle est construite. Elle est consacrée à Saint Hyacinthe.

En 1687, le Lorrain est érigé en paroisse.

En 1743, une église est construite.

En 1858, des travaux de réparations sont entrepris.

Le cyclone du 18 août 1891 détruit la toiture et le clocher qui seront réparés

En 1927/1928, le Père Arostéguy fait ajouter 2 nefs pour agrandir l'église.

Le tremblement de terre de 1946 abîme l'église. Des travaux de réparation dureront jusqu'en 1949. De nouveaux travaux seront effectués en 1953.

En 1976 et de 1979 à 1980, des travaux de rénovation sont faits.

Le 16 mars 1995, l'église et le parvis sont classés aux Monuments Historiques.

Ce classement aux Monuments a permis de bénéficier de fonds pour réhabiliter l'église. Les travaux ont été effectués de 2002 à 2012 sous la direction d'Etienne Poncelet, Architecte en chef des Monuments Historiques.

La 1ère messe a eu lieu, dans la nouvelle église, le 23 décembre 2012. Elle a été célébrée par Monseigneur Méranville.

La fête patronale de la paroisse est le 17 août.

Saint Hyacinthe est né en 1185, en Pologne, dans une famille noble. Il était apparenté à l'évêque Iwo de Cracovie. C'est lui qui influença Saint Hyacinthe dans sa vocation. Saint Hyacinthe devint chanoine de la cathédrale puis fut envoyé en France et en Italie pour parfaire son éducation religieuse.

Quand l'évêque Iwo partît à Rome, il amena avec lui Saint Hyacinthe et 3 autres jeunes hommes. À Rome, ils firent la connaissance de Saint Dominique (le fondateur de la communauté des Dominicains). L'évêque Iwo demandât à Saint Dominique d'envoyer des frères dominicains en Pologne. Saint Dominique lui répondit que les frères étaient trop peu nombreux mais que Saint Hyacinthe et les 3 jeunes hommes pouvaient rester dans sa communauté pour s'y former. A la fin de leur noviciat, les 4 jeunes hommes devinrent des frères dominicains.

En 1222, Saint Hyacinthe et ses frères retournèrent à Cracovie et s'installèrent a l'église de la Sainte Trinité. En Pologne, ils installèrent des couvents et entamèrent des campagnes d'évangélisation.

De 1228 à 1233 et de 1236 à 1238, Saint Hyacinthe se consacrât à l'évangélisation de
De la Russie et en Prusse (ancien pays entre la Pologne et la Russie).

La tradition raconte une merveilleux miracle vécu par Saint Hyacinthe. Un jour, pendant sa campagne d'évangélisation en Russie, alors que Saint Hyacinthe célébrait la messe dans une église de Kiev, on lui apprit que des Tartares arrivaient pour tuer les habitants. Alors que Saint Hyacinthe s'enfuyait en emportant le Saint Sacrement,
La statue de la Vierge Marie se lit à parler et lui demandât de l'emporter avec lui. La statue était en marbre et pesait fort lourd. Saint Hyacinthe prit la statue (qui était devenue très légère) et le Saint Sacrement et réussit à s'enfuir.

Saint Hyacinthe mourût le 15 août 1257.

Saint Hyacinthe fût canonisé le 17 avril 1594 par le Pape Clément VIII.

The ending of this is beautiful. The whole piece is. When I read that Michonne was raped, I was like "Nope". But I decided to soldier on and am glad I did. Together Richonne can do anything, conquer all! One quibble, I don't think Rick would've let Michonne's rapist live. He would've killed him then and there, immediately, without remorse.
