It's sad that you've discontinued this, but I suppose you're never coming back to it. It was good while it lasted.

I really liked so many things this story -
particularly the touches to characters that really weren't utilized to their full potential in either the Ranma anime or manga
#1) I love what was done done with Kasumi... Much more realistic than most fanfics and DEFINITELY more rounded than the mainline continuities. This has influenced how I view her and her sense of humor. (Of course, I like a bit more bizarre eccentricness to her but also being able to call people on their stupidity and be 'silently sarcastic' is a nice touch!)
#2) Happosai! OMG! The character many people love to hate. I LIKED him here, I sort of understood more about his POV. Yes, it makes you cringe in some ways but goshdarnit when Ranko frightens Soun with a firecracker and figures that she can understand WHY Happi gets a kick out of "torturing" the fathers...! that was one of the better laughs I've gotten from any fanfic!
#3) Kodachi. Brilliant mind, lonely girl... There's more explanations to her than you see just about anywhere. She has a wicked sense of humor and is very eccentric but also likeable
Even for characters I DON'T particularly like (I looking at you, tomboy!), there were some decent moments. Yes, I will admit I LIKED seeing "angry girl" get her comeuppance and be humiliated a bit - the spastic colon pressure point? PRICELESS! But then the possibility that Ranko MIGHT win her over and STILL be friends with her? The way it was done was plausible.
I know all about RL... Might be decent if somebody could continue or maybe done their own story along these lines... What's here is still one of my favorite AU fanfics...

So I know you must be extremely busy - RL sucks us all up, I get you. However, this is one of the best Ranma fics I have ever read, and I've read a ton. It would be beyond amazing if you could, pretty please, write more. Or at least confirm fic death (Nooooo)

I mean it has been 14 years since you've updated, so I assume its as dead as a doornail but hey, thumbs up for trying...

An old fic with a great plot but left for more than a decade

Oh please update soon! This is such a great fanfiction and it is a pity that it has been so long ago since the last chapter. At least put it in adoption for someone who you can trust to continue writing it or something.

please update soon! this is one of the greatest ever I have read of Ranma fanfic. I wish I could read as far as when Ranko and Ranma have their first romantic moment or even if she or he realize they love the other. Ranko to me seem, she needs to accept she is just herself, regardless of what gender she was or is. This would seem plenty mature than Ranma had managed over canon. I wonder what is the end of this, if she turns back to her former self, or if she ends up living this new life?

Thank you for writing this, it was quite great.
However this is a horrible stopping point.
We now see more evidence that Ranko is still a bit screwed up then she appears and the harsh training might push Ranma away from Ranko.
