This was the best one-shot and Helga POV story I have read by far. It was so funny and heartwarming at the same time. You really captured the a-dork-ableness of the Helga and Arnold relationship

I'm flabbergasted at how amazing this is. It honestly brought a tear to my eyes at the end. The writing is not only rife with vivid imagry but it flows effortlessly whilst making references to things only fans will truly understand. I found it both exciting and frustrating since the feelings mentioned are so relatable. A truly fine piece of work.

And yet I'm thinking...this is so perfect...I'm just gonna quit writing fics because this is beautiful and I love it way too much and the characters are perfect and nothing I write shall ever compare. This was perfection! You should totally write this story from Arnold's POV, I would love to read what he was thinking throughout this whole thing! I loved it!

That was hilarious. I honestly did not thought for a second she would doubt the note being from Arnold the first time around but when she did, it turned to a crazy denial fest and it was very funny to read that suddenly it made sense that she would reacted that way. I can really see canon Helga feeling this way now that I think about it.

I really like that we got Helga's first person narrative because she's even more hilarious to read this way with her eccentric thoughts and constant denial to the point where it drove her pursuer even more in frustration. Even his attempts in winning her heart (like he doesn't have already) and her redirecting any thoughts of him reciprocating her feelings had me giggling in fits. I guess I can't really blame Helga since he did waited that long before he confessed or even pursued her, which I can understand must have been his way in wanting to evaluate his feelings carefully and making sure his decision was really what his heart wanted. I guess she must have tasted defeat for so long that it had embedded in her to the point where she truly believes that to be a fact. Poor Helga but nice Helga, now we get a happy ending. I really like the ending. It's like all those years of hope and pent-up feelings rushing to her when finally it had been answered and I'm damn happy about it. Thanks for sharing this lovely story to us and taking us to this crazy ride, nice one!

I'm glad Arnold was persistent in trying to get Helga to listen to him. I LMFAO when Helga gave the note to Lila! I could just imagining Arnold dying right there. I wonder what he said to Lila about the note. I'm surprised Arnold didn't get Gerald and Phoebe to help. Always love a happy ending.
