I'm glad there's going to be a sequel. I enjoyed this. And I'd like to see how Bucky relates to Nat.

Ah, go, Nat! It makes sense she would show up with the journal or at least the knowledge of the trigger words. I figure she'd be the one who would bring back Bucky's notebooks and the red book, perhaps also working with Sharon.

I like how the Red Room history feels very dreamlike, just exactly as it would be if Bucky's mind is dreaming and remembering details while he's frozen. Compelling stuff.

Poor, poor Bucky and Steve...cryo makes sense from a safety standpoint, but how hard it was it for Steve. He looked so quietly devastated as he watched Bucky peacefully go under. I like to think that Steve does understand, in some deeper level, why Bucky made that choice, but potentially losing Bucky for who knows how long after just getting him bac, and so soon after losing Peggy forever...no wonder he looks devastated. I like your conversations between Steve and Bucky, and Bucky's implied independence as he explores Wakanda and finds the science facility with its cryo tube.

What I liked most about this was your exploration of why Bucky ran when Steve told him to. On the surface it would seem as though Bucky was out of character there, that it'd be better if he repeated that much loved "no, not without you!" that he screamed in Cap 1. But you pegged it...he knew Stark would come after him and hopefully leave Steve alone. Didn't really work out that way, sadly.

That scene was two parts epic and painful.

One of the things that amused me in CACW was how perpetually confused poor Bucky was at both Team Iron-man and his own teammates. He held his own but at the same time gave off the impression of a man in way over his head. I like how you explore that theme here.

Ooh boy, the other big fight is coming...

Heh, a nice way to write the infamous "Mission Report" moment alongside Bucky and Sam's car shenanigans.

Sam and bucky are my sassy babies.

It's interesting...and at times wrenching...to view the story as it unfolds through Bucky's eyes, to live it with him as he experienced all of it. One of the more heartrending moments for me in the movie was when he was left sitting beside the press, wringing his hands. He looked so forlorn and defeated there, and you picked upon that mood really well with this.

Shh, I feel like I just reached Civil War. Nicely done... and I reread the motorcycle stunt several times. Because, you know, that *motorcycle stunt*.
