Wished there was a chapter showing Kurama’s and Makoto’s married life with their own children

Just got done rereading this story, and my gosh I just love it so much.
I am so appreciative with Makoto’s character as a whole, and how she interacts with everyone. I love that the main focus wasn’t insane dramatic scenarios , and love that it wasnt super heavy on the romance (as much as I love romance, the interactions between her and Kurama feel so natural and FITS and I love it)

I would still love to see your sequel, even if it is just more one shots put into a collection or done as a scenario fic

Man, Genkai can be so dismissive of people if she doesn't see an immediate danger to someone's problem. Granted, the old lady has probably seen a lot more dangerous and worrying things than 'my power is changing' but still, pretty harsh on Makoto.
Good thing Makoto has Kurama to listen to her problems!

Is the demon world bleeding through enough to effect the city like this? As well as changing Makoto's powers so fundamentally.
I can't wait to see what Makoto ends up doing while the gang tries to rescue Yusuke though!

Everyone loves a happy ending, and Fumi makes it more heartwarming by threatening Kurama with bodily harm.
I don't know if I've made it clear that I thoroughly enjoy Makoto's perspective on these events. As someone who has a foot in both worlds, it's cool to see how different her perspective is different from the main cast, who, excluding Kurama and Genkai, have mostly only been involved in one side for the majority of there lives (Botan also doesn't count because she barely interacted with the human world in any personal way until Yusuke happened).

Emotions are running high as the finals fights come to a close. Both internal and external conflicts can really wear down on you, so Makoto has my sympathy for going through so much right now. (And Kurama too, but he would be hurt half the time if he wasn't so dramatic.

Fascinating reason for why Makoto doesn't get a lot of readings from Kurama. And Genkai's death being not a bang but a whimper at the end of the chapter seemed strangely poetic after all of the emotional buildup.

Noooooo, Genkai! I know it's not permanent, but Makoto is gonna have a hell of time coping with this.

Makoto's frustration with Keiko is understandable. They didn't go all the way there for Keiko alone dangit! There's a thousand-year-old demon thief that needs a dressing down for leaving without saying goodbye!

I can't believe Kurama would ditch Makoto's send-off like that. Well, I can believe it, but I'm not happy about it!
Using the half-demon network to find Botan was pretty cool, and I'm interested to see how Makoto will go about communicating Yusuke's movements to them after the dark tournament arc is over. Will she only tell them about his big moves? How detailed will she be?
And we get more about the Spirit World's outlook on half-demons. I really like the entire half-demon subplot so far and can't wait to see where it goes.

Makoto's complete aversion to gaining attention at school will never not be funny, the same to Kurama's enjoyment of bringing her to everyone's attention.

Although there was not a lot of embarrassing stories shared, Ms. Minamino is very sweet and wholesome. I love it.

Kurama being sassy will always brighten my day, and Makoto giving back what she gets is awesome too!
Kuwabara is bright and friendly as is his want and I really want Makoto to go to Kurama's house so that his mom can share embarrassing stories with her son's only friend.

Fumiko is great and acts as a great foil to Makoto's usually passive outlook.
Leave it to Botan to meet someone headfirst without even introducing herself.

Also, sorry if these reviews seem a bit scatterbrained, I'm just typing the first thoughts that pop into my head about the chapter!

The mystery of Kurama's perfect hair will remain just that. A mystery.
It's fun to see your take on how a half-demon would get through life in the human world as well.

Slightly sadistic Kurama is always a joy to read.
And Genkai's here! It's always fun to see her training (verbally beating) Yusuke.
I wonder what Genkai will have to say about the bug dreams?
