Loved it! Sofia going to the trouble of having her whole class sign a card for Cedric, Calista visiting, Cedric trying to leave and Sofia stopping him! Nice!

Good so far. I loved the scene at the end with Sofia saying goodbye, and also the part where she asked the doctor if Cedric was okay.

It was sweet that everyone from Royal Prep helped make Cedric's 'get well' card :)

Oh, poor Cedric. Lol, at his reaction to James teasing him about Greylock though.

I really like how you wrote Amber being sympathetic and telling James off for his bad humor.

This was cute, girl! :) Loved seeing my buddy Greylock too. Haha. And thanks for adopting my stories again. I know they are in good hands. ;)

This is a great start. :) I'm looking forward to the rest. Two things made me smile/laugh here: James joking that Greylock should fill in (which I TOTALLY would have loved too, haha), and the idea that Goodwin will be teaching Sofia. I adore that idea. While it won't be the same as Cedric teaching her, giving her a different perspective and even technique will be charming. Love it and can't wait to see more. ~AquaTurquoise

Wonderful start! :) I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens. I really loved two things about this chapter: one, James teasing Cedric about Greylock being his temporary replacement (haha), and two, Sofia being told that Goodwin will give her a sorcery lesson.
