This story does a really good job of filling in the gap between end of the books and the play. I love how it uses animals from fantastic beasts too

This isn’t canon. It’s an AU—it became an AU already when Harry and Ron decided to go back to Hogwarts! Everything is just so off, far-fetched and completely unrealistic. I’ve jumped around a bit, but I get the idea of what this is, and I don’t like it. The fact that this chapter’s contents even happened is weird as fuck—literally /no one/ would allow this in canon.

Draco’s not that good of a person, nor that smart or talented. Like Guest said in the reviews below me: Harry was completely rational in his decision to reject Draco, because Draco’s a shit person. Harry never saw Hermione as anything other than a sister (!), even when his hormones went through the roof, /period/. Ginny’s also OCC as hell, and so goddamn unlikeable. And I’m a Hinny shipper!

While this story started out well enough, I still find it a huge disappointment. I suggest you mark this as an AU completely.

if your calling a story cannon you're gonna attract cannon shippers so don't make a huge early section a non cannon ship I'm done with this story

I have just finished and I'll say that it was a well written story; however, I greatly disliked Ginny in this and found myself hoping that it would somehow turn into a slash with a Draco/Harry pairing.

I see lots of good reviews but I'm just having a hard time believing most of these situations. Based on what I've read so far, Harry just needs to leave Ginny the eff alone.

Sorry, but the entire concept of this chapter is just sick, and wouldn't be allowed in any school - magical or otherwise. You could've easily done this in a way that actually allowed for some suspension of disbelief, but you didn't, and now I feel I can't read on - which is a shame, as this is otherwise a really good story. This one chapter (and I suppose to some extent the last one) just ruined it for me... :(

Read this over the course of 24 hours. This is one of the better fits that i have read. It was very emotional and we'll written and i never knew exactly how things were going to pan out. While I'll admit I've always preferred Harry/Hermione you managed to make the pairings work.
